Sad that Ringer didn;t take off as well as it could have. Think the show is great and could have lasted another season or 2 but the ratings just don;t show it

Really, really, really, really hope they save Nikita for a 3rd seasons!!

90210 hit a season low in the ratings/demo this week could be bad news for it if the decline continues

Looks like we can add "Luck" to the axe list:

Is there a link somewhere with an up-to-date list of all cancellations so far?

I'm surprised about Grimm. I started watching when it came on, but stopped after 3 episodes as reports said it wasn't looking good in the ratings. I will need to now catch up, quite enjoyed it!

Looking at ratings on the CW, i think 90210 and Gossip Girl could be out this year. Doubt they'll cancel both though. Nikita is getting more hits than both those shows, plus that's on a Friday night, so I am hoping Nikita will survive the axe!!

It wasn't looking good in the ratings????

It's preformed consistently well since it began, coming in at no.1 in its timeslot most weeks !

At moment it's totally reliant on both WB/fox coming to a reasonable deal that makes both some money. Very possible, but it's very possible for the show to be cancelled. Not certain at all.
Let's not forget the rest of that quote:

"We're not in the business of losing money. We need to figure out if there's a [deal with studio Warner Bros that] will make sense or will this be it."
So the rumours of a shortened, cheaper season are very much alive.

It may have been winning the night but he is right the numbers it was winning with we're hardly stellar. Any show airing on a Friday is at risk as the 18-49 viewers just aren't there, as a network you either have to go after older viewers that night (which only CBS really seem to be doing) and go after older advertisers OR you have to be able to get it dirt cheap.

The current season of Grimm isn't that cheap, it wasn't really intended for a Friday night (infact it would seem someone at the network doesn't like the show and was setting it up to bomb, unfortunately for them pretty much ever other show has bombed making Grimms Friday performance look so much better) and the international sales aren't amazing (mainly its landed on Universals own network as its gone unsold) so you have to wonder how low the production arm could cut the licence fee to the network. So it wasn't a unreasonable assumption that it would get cancelled.

I'm wondering if it means NBC are thinking of promoting it to a better slot, mind you I'm not sure where else it would fit and looking at the pilot pickups the only obvious one that would compliment it is perhaps "Mockingbird Lane"

I really hope Fringe gets renewed, and that the network announce it as a final season. I've never actually watched the show, but I really really want to and I want to know that there will be some sort of conclusion at the end of it.

Does anyone else think that they seem to be rounding off Nikita ready for a conclusion at the end of this series?

Prime Suspect US was cancelled by NBC, which was a shame as I really enjoyed it.

Impossible in this day an age to guess what will work on TV. Studios do not have the money or patients to let a show grow!

If the numbers are not there it's gone!

Not surprised Body of Proof got canned - I've liked Dana Delany in many things from China Beach to Desperate Housewives, and Jeri Ryan is *hot* but this was a really really cruddy show. Deleted it off my PVR after three episodes. It tried to blend Shark with Brennan (haven't seen Bones so can't comment) and failed.
Cannot see the appeal of New Girl, surprised it hasn't been cancelled. I keep trying to watch it but I just want to punch the lead in the face repeatedly, she's so annoying. It's not as if I hate Zooey Deschanel, she's made some good films and even The Happening deserves cult drinknig status but this.. ugh.
Be happy to see CSI:Miami go, always been the worst of the CSIs for me, but I thought it was the most popular worldwide show or something?
The demise of the various Law & Orders will leave a big gap in my PVR, although we're so far behind on some there's no need to panic yet...

I lasted one episode with Body of Proof and didn't bother as the main character, for me, was utterly unlikable.

I hope New Girl survives though, I love that.

Body of Proof has not been officially cancelled at all.

Why do people assume it has?? Ratings are actually ok compared to most!
