EE Why didn't Tamwar get hardly any scenes?
I would have thought he would be the main focus tonight, with him finally showing his scars, WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT

Couldn't agree more.
Sadly the answer lies in that he's not a Moon brother. Look no further. |

I was disappointed too. On another note, I like Whitney but don't like how they make her character seem so fickle and predictable now

Tamwar is one of the best young characters in Eastenders. But he is hardly used. Why?

Totally agree. He is extremely underused and it was Himesh's time to shine in this storyline and they have missed out scenes that could develop his relationship with Afia and I wanted to see more scenes of him worrying about his scars. Syed and tamwar scene could of been so good but they haven't had that either. Too many missed opportunities unfortunately

Tonight really should have been Tam's night, not bloody Tyler and Whitney's. That was a big deal. His interactions with Fatboy were great, and it would have been awesome to see more of a build up with afia, and more of her reaction afterwards. I couldn't even really tell what her reaction was really, was she saying oh no he didn't have to because she didn't want to push him, or because she wasn't ready?. I'm sure they'll show aftermath but they missed a chance to show the initial reaction.

Because Bryan Kirkwoods only cares about his creations. The Moons, Derek, nuBen, Yusef. If characters are not in a storyline involving these BK's characters they get little to no screentime.

I love Tamwar and was disappointed with how little screentime he got tonight
That should have been the A plot tonight, not Titney and those stupid heart shaped balloons...ETA: Well last night.

I miss Tamwar
Hopefully Syed will reappear soon and maybe they'll be some brother bonding going on. I do miss the friendship between Tamwar and Darren, Tam doesnt seem to have anybody else to have any proper banter with these days - apart from Fatboy who is usually obsessing over whitney. I would have thought we'd see alot more of him at the moment, but the whole scarring issue has barely been touched on and when he is in an episode we only get a snippet of whats going on.Tamwar is one of the only decent younger actors in this show -he's underused and underrated. I can just see him being cut by Kirkwood in the next cull, instead of the awful Tyler Moon...

We couldn't have more Tamwar, or Andrew for that matter, because everyone has to be shoved into the corner to make room for the nation's favourite couple.
I sometimes wonder if a marketing committee wrote this shit specifically to appeal to a certain demographic of stupid 13 year olds, because there is just no way I want to believe the same writers who wrote Billie's Death would write episodes as bad as this week's.

NuBen is a mitchell, Derek is a Branning, The Masoods only had screen time because of Yusef. BK brought back Kat and Alfie so they are "his creations".

I also thought it was a bit insulting to people facing real disfigurements, like Katie Piper...
I guess it effects different people in different ways and the shock of everything has probably made him focus on his scars...but how often did he show his back anyway? I mean...it is completely no big deal, if it were Tyler and his chest then I can see it might be more of an issue as he derives a lot of self worth from his body, but Tamwar was always the brains...and scars on his back dont actually effect his life at all. Its been 2 months since the fire and his wife has only just seen them... |

kat and alfie are hardly BK's creations The amount of screentime Tamwar's had since he came out of hospital compared with yet another love triangle is obvious, he hasn't even had a visit from his brother since coming out of hospital. The younger Masoods often get just 2-3 lines per episode, including many episodes over Christmas when their parents were the main focus. Syed is back for one day next week as the Anthony/Amira storyline gets going, how many lines will he have? Janine hasn't been given any priority lately either. |

I agree.
He must have only get five minutes screentime, while the Tyler/Whitney drivel took up most of the episode.
