Well, assuming what we heard from Dean Piper is true, her two weeks in LA working with Fraser should be up soon, and I think they were focusing on finishing Trouble during those two weeks, so we might now get new music soon, but at least we know she's still working

I think Trouble has officially become the most anticipated Leona track ever, perhaps even more than Bleeding Love. It better be amazing.

I think she'll also be in the studio with will.i.am soon, judging by what Clive said a month or so ago. The album will be finished long before November that's for sure, probably May at the latest - they just want to tie in the release with X Factor/Christmas.

I really hope all the anticipation of 'Trouble' will not be a let down. Though the only thing is, I love 'Heaven' but for Emeli. I hope when they mean it is similar tempo-wise, that it's just tempo and they don't have similar sounds because I don't like the sound of Heaven for Leona.

I'm intrigued about the song with Will.I.Am. I'm not really a fan of him, but I hope they pull something awesome out of the bag. He's a strange choice for her don't you think..?


I Like the sound of this. It is 100% true. Leona does have the voice, but she needs the right songs for her voice, and I hope they take it into account that it's about her voice and not over trying to go down the typical RedOne kind of track to score a hit. I'm excited knowing she's working with Fraser T Smith, Naughtyboy and Ryan Tedder. I know some people would rather she wouldn't write with him as much, but If we can score another Bleeding Love then I'm well happy

The lyrics sound so good, I can't imagine Leona singing them for some reason, they sound so angry and Leona is so...nice LOL. I can't wait to hear Trouble, it's gonna be epic.

I believe 'Trouble' will sound very similar to 'Heaven'. It's been described as "trip-hop" and like the Massive Attack song 'Unfinished Sympathy', which is basically what 'Heaven' is. So I'd say it's gonna be pretty similar unless they have completely re-done it. I'd like that kind of thing for Leona as I think her voice would suit it well but that's just my opinion.

I'm not a fan either. I think he's bad, real bad. I don't understand why they would want her to work with him, of all the people in the world. He produces the same old basic Dance stuff that I really don't want Leona to do. But I suppose that's what you have to do to get a hit these days in the industry.....:yawn:

Omg I'm all exited again! And I Don't understand why will.i.am is working on the album either. Personally I think lady gaga could write leona some magic, and I think labrinth should work with leona... He can write some amazing tracks and they are on the same label so I don't know why he isn't on the album. He writes and produces all different styles, he said that he writes hip hop/rap , electronic, pop, jazz, acoustic, ballads, all kinds of different styles.

Agree about GaGa and Labrinth. I think GaGa could work on a great euphoric uptempo number with Leona - think The Edge of Glory and Labrinth's production style is insane, I honestly think Earthquake would have suited Leona somewhat, with a bit of a tweak and lyrics change perhaps. I'm not too sure on Will.I.Am, but he has produced a few great tracks I think:

The fans are so pumped for this album, it's just hard because we're so ready but Leona isn't. But I respect that she doesn't feel like 100% is in the album yet, so until she feels she has achieved perfection she won't make anything official. I believe the time she is taking will be worth it in the end. I think this album will be a step up from Echo and inturn bring all her 'spirit' fans back again

If Trouble is as brilliant as they make out (it may well be) wouldn't they have had more sessions with Emeli? That would be the logical thing to do, surely. As far as I can tell Trouble is the only song that they worked on together apart from Mountains which they either rejected (this seems to be the case) or Emeli decided to take back for herself. It's all very baffling really.
