The rumors are true that leona is a candidate for the two new usa xfactor judge openings. The candidates are leona,victoria beckham,cheryl cole,avril lavigne britney spears,and kelly rowland.

Well, the confirmation of Leona as a judge was obviously April fools... but i hope the same for any rumours... i think it would be a terrible move... Leona could go on that show, be the best mentor... the funniest judge... and she'd still be slated... i cant see people giving her a chance on a show like that... it'll just be one 'she has no xfactor / personality' dig after another!

Also, i cant see Leona getting a high profile US role when her profile is so low... maybe in a year or two... after she has proved she can handle interviews and other TV work well :-D

I don't know, she's a very likeable person, the worst they'd probably say about her is their normal, like "she's boring", "she looks like a horse" or some other stuff. But I think the general public would like her, it's just the haters that wouldn't.

And I don't think she would have any trouble booking this show. Simon is the producer, he basically gets executive control over everything, ie picking new judges, so if he wants Leona, he'll get Leona.

Maybe... personally i'd love to have her on TV, here or in the US every week... just worry about what some comments can do to peoples confidence, and a show like that would put her into major media scrutiny...

... having said that, i'd kinda prefer her to just be a singer, rather than a TV personality... some people need those extra things to boost themselves and get peoples attention... the 'real singers' should be able to concentrate on what they do best :-D

Happy that the XF rumour is a joke, whoever appears on XF gets so much bad publicity. Of course I would love to see Leona on TV every week, but I think her music is more important than anything else presenting wise.

Off up to Cheshire today for the Easter break, but before I go must watch the Labyrinth tour to celebrate Leona's birthday.

I think US XF would do Leona's career wonders. The first season had underwhelming, yet still respectable, ratings but I get the feeling that Simon is going to go all out this year and ratings will be better - especially if Britney is one of the mentors.

And One Direction's huge success will almost guarantee them a spot on one of the live shows, which would be extremely interesting considering the whole Leona/Liam thing. The teenage girls that would be watching (who might have been too young to remember Leona from 2008) would understand who Leona is and may possibly look up to her if she is the woman of Liam's dreams. On the other hand, the teenage girls could be bitchy to her but Leona's personality wouldn't provoke such comments.

I want this to happen now!! Plus US radio may jump on board with Leona again if they see how relevant she is this year.
