Still their biggest show by miles but that is some crash for Gypsy Weddings since last year, especially considering by C4 standards it hasn't even been milked - the Royal Wedding and Christmas specials were kind of inevitable.

Haven't seen daytime figures for a whlie but they seem to have dropped a bit for BBC1 - I know it's not January but aren't they usually comfortably above 2m? And ouch for Weakest Link - looks like Deal or No Deal still wins it's slot though.

Ratings wise I don't think the terrestrial HD channels can ever become the first point of call when they're not at 1-5 in the EPG. Also worth noting that most HD TVs can't actually receive HD channels - you have to watch them through your Freeview/Sky box, so I suspect many will just watch 1-5 through the TV and believe they're watching in HD (just like those with squashed pictures believe they're watchnig widescreen).

Not so secret weapon - and not actually a weapon at all nowadays.

I think BGT will just nudge it but thanks to recordings and people skipping the ads - so the advertisers will really lose out which surely makes it a bad move for ITV.

It's Twilight all over again.
Really don't see why C4 couldn't leave MPD another week. It was never going to air on Fri 23rd Mar due to Sport Relief (both due to Davina hosting that and C4 not usually competing with it), so they could have just left it an extra week rather than rescheduled the episode for Sunday.

God - is it that time of year already. Surely though now Person of Interest has got a second series someone here has to pick it up.

And 56% of Brits don't watch TV most nights.
