How many weeks is it (scheduled to be) on for?

Knowing BBC scheduling it's final is probably scheduled to air midway through the Olympics. Based on the format though it should be about 10-13 weeks.

It can be hard to tell with reality stuff like this, especially the less formatted stuff like The Catalina. I'm not convinced by any of them tbh. But who'd have thought Jersey Shore would be a hit!”
The Catalina will probably be the most formatted out of the lot. And you didn't mention Oh Sit! as musical chairs comes to primetime TV.
Quote:
“OH SIT! is a fun, high-stakes, high-octane musical chairs competition, in which 20 thrill-seeking daredevils race head-to-head through five physically demanding, obstacle course-style eliminations as they each compete to claim a chair, to the sounds of a live band. At the end of the hour, only one contestant will be left sitting triumphant to seize the cash prize. OH SIT! is created and executive produced by Phil Gurin ("The Singing Bee," "Shark Tank," "The Weakest Link"), Richard Joel and Deena Dill. The series is from The Gurin Company and 405 Productions.”

It has turned out into the breakout success of the year so far in Australia, pulling in 1.96m viewers last night, (an increase from the last 2 episodes as well), whereas the more hyped up Alcatraz which is on at the same time has slumped to around 700k”
Tube Talk said last week it is still to be picked up, though RTE have picked it up for Ireland. I really don't understand why UK broadcasters aren't interested - it might not be a Glee style breakout hit but it's one of the few success stories of this season, so I guess it must be coming down to price and perhaps the length of rights to avoid Sky coming in and nicking season 3.

Ironic really that Nick Griffin is only the third biggest knob involved in this production. Sounds like C4 didn't really want to air it so actually surprised it got an 11pm weeknight slot rather than being buried after midnight - on More4.
