Does your pet have OCD?
Just thought I'd ask....
My Labrador's been a bit ill tonight but cos she has a specific place where she goes to the loo (at the river-bank, where it gets washed away 3 times a day) it means I have to take her to her spot before she'll do her business cos she simply refuses to go anywhere else. She also has absolutely set-in-stone times when she goes out for a walk. There's times when friends have been visiting and the kids have asked to take the dogs out for a walk an hour early and then the Lab' gets home, lies on the floor for ten minutes and then gets up and sits in front of me, pawing at my leg cos now is the proper time for a walk. Also, there's times when her food bowl has been in the dishwasher so her food gets put in a different bowl and she just kinda stands there, stares at me, stares at the food and then stares back at me again. I get her proper bowl out of the dishwasher, tip the food into it, put it back on the floor and she happily starts eating it. She also gets fed scraps by me... and nobody BUT me. If I don't leave any of my dinner but the missus does, the Lab' won't take scraps off my missus. She just sits there and stares at them. My missus has to hand the plate to me so I can put it on the floor before the Lab' will eat it. Anybody else have pets with OCD?

Anybody else have pets with OCD? ![]() ![]() He too has his own bowl and will NOT touch food that's been put down for him in anything different. However when the other cat was still alive, he would always nick a bit of food from her dish. He is so fussy about his own bowl that if some of his food falls on the floor (he only eats dried food which I get in 5kg packs so I decant into a smaller container for ease) as I'm filling the smaller container, he'll sniff at it and walk away.
