Is everyone having pancakes? What have you got to put on them?

Need some inspiration!

Still waiting for new cooker to be delievered so no pancakes for me this year....

If I was having them then they would be stuffed/stacked with feta, dill, mint, spring onion, ricotta and spinach.

Just sugar, and lemon for me, although have made stuffed before. Will be making mine thin, slightly thicker than crepes.

I bought a jar of black cherry jam to put in the middle of the pancakes, then I have them hot with vanilla ice cream melting on top... mmm...

Me too, not feeling up to being 'fancy' at the moment.

I have already had pancakes as I couldn't wait until tomorrow hehe

It's just lemon and sugar for me, doesn't feel right having anything else.

Another traditionalist here - lemon juice and sugar for me.

I had pancakes on Saturday too, big fat American ones with bacon and maple syrup. Might have that for breakfast tomorrow and have the juice and sugar ones for tea!

Why don't you buy some ready made ones and reheat in the microwave.

I'm having mozarella, ementhal and cheddar, with chopped tomatoes and spring onions.

Last year, I had garlic mushrooms.

I love pancake day, although I have to confess that I do eat pancakes at other times too!

Theres a good nigella recipe where you put pesto in the mix and then layer with ham. Yum.

Lol! No, it's definitely being made with pancake batter, and not eggs!

They're in the oven at the moment and due out in about 5 minutes.

I did and luckily just before stuffing I realised that they were sweet! So had banana, maple syrup and ice cream
