It could be a re-release
I get an impression she isn't fully into her Talk that talk era compared to previous albums. I mean she gushed about Good girl, Rated r and Loud. But talk that talk, it could be her Bedtime Stories era. An album she won't tour for and not have it in high regard, which is what Madonna did for that album.

Nah, she's not stupid and neither are her management. They know that the type of commercial pop she makes is the sort of music needs to be fired out like clockwork, otherwise you become irrelevant and the fickle fans move on to the next big thing.

If Rihanna took a break someone else would come along and replace her.

I don't think it's just a case of her taking a break for herself, but she needs to give us all a break too. I'm a fan and even I'm getting a bit fed up of her

It wouldn't be so bad if she was giving us a constant stream of decent stuff, but TTT was over half full of filler.

She should aim for quality over quantity, with each album I dislike her a little bit more due to the laziness of it. One or two good songs with a buffet of bland filler tracks.

this woman is starting to become overexposed musically. 7 albums in 7 years is ridiculous. she should release a greatest hits album and add a few songs and take a break. she could afford it. plus she has a whole bunch of hits. this woman hasn't had a break ever!! she just releases songs to just that stay relevant. she's only had 2 albums become real smashers (good girl gone bad and loud).

Why do you all say she works so hard?! Fair enough she goes on tour and stuff but the day of the concert she spends probably about an hour in the gym and then getting make up and hair done sat down and chilling out then two hours of peforming and then goes to her fancy hotel and sleeps and has a day off the next day.

I don't get how she works so hard? I mean that's not to say it doesn't get stressful doing promo and stuff but she attends countless awards and has fun and there's people that work 5 days a week some working more and more and my Dad works what 60+ hours a week in a continious stressful job and travels 1 hour each way to work that is stressful!

Why is everyone like she needs to take a break or she's rushing her albums. There is no confirmation that she is even recording/releasing a new album this year. She could just be doing a collaboration for another artist, tracks for a greatest hits album or just recording for the sake of it.

Rihanna can do what she likes. At the end of the day she gets hits and always brings home the bacon. I do think she needs an image change though, but hopefully she'll figure that out with this album and be even bigger....

She must be one of if not THE hardest working artist in the industry right now....

I like her music but the woman really does need to take a day off. It's ridiculous how quickly her record label churn out these albums and I can't believe people aren't getting fed up of the constant over-exposure. I know I am.

Though when you look at it all she does is lay down the vocals. If she really wanted she could do 2-3 albums a year...
