I know! They did when Britney was on back in 2008. Dermot kept saying "Still too come, the one and only Britney Spears" all night and the contestants sang (murdered) some of her songs

But how would you introduce Madonna....you know? It would be insane if she went on to perform!

I did hope she would in the 2009 finals as heavily rumoured...she would have duetted with Stacey Soloman however but it may have worked! but lets not rule out anything this era with Interscope driving Madonna around! Will be interesting.”

I know I nearly died with excitement when he said "Britney Spears" nevermind Madonna lol!

Yeah I would love her to include "Hung Up" in her medley and have at least 3 songs in there

And definitely the crowd went nuts for Britney so having Madonna on would be even more epic lol

And yeah now she's on a new label i'm hoping for big things this year in the UK, especially when she's already done Graham Norton

omfg! Yes i mean it was something epic....BRITNEY...SPEARS!! it was like.....i dont care that i dont like WOmanizer and i dont care that she lip synched it....it was Britney effing Spears! you know? i still rewatch that video for the vibes it painted really, how far she came in a year.

But damn if Madonna performs on the X Factor this year (lets face it ITV need a ratings pull for it this year too in the live finals) i will pass out i think....just like "biggest female artist ever" "300 million records sold" "the queen of pop" "the queen of reinvention" "multiple platinum albums" "most number 1 albums by an artist since The Beatles" "Set new itunes record" "SEX book" "multi-razzie winner" "multi golden globe winner" "highest grossing tour by a solo artist" etc etc.....i will be having fits haha! oh and then of course she performs you know

Yeah like maybe an exaggerated acoustic set with MDNA on keyboards/guitars and perform Falling Free, gang bang, Erotica, Hung Up, Music, Wild....i dunno....just her sat there eating a sandwich will be the best live performance ever

I love the sound of this, I really can't grasp why they chose to release GMAYL first. As for XFactor there's minimal chance of that as she'll be touring for the rest of the year

Besides while it seems too good to be true...at the end of the day why would Madonna want to perform on a flagging show during her world tour anyway?

But the video sounds like it will be something very memorable....and the beats....daymn in that snippet....gives me good vibes.

I am a Madonna fan from 1983 and this is really not Madonna, as I recognise her.

It's catchy and commercial enough but where is the edge? Sorry, but this could be anyone.

Someone said on FB that's she's ruining her legacy and I can't disagree. I'm so sad she thinks so little of her musical output that she thinks this is okay to release a mere dance track.

I think this is good. My only problem is the bit from the preview is a little flat, but there was a snippet from outside her London house (I think) where this song was played and it was far more 'wild', so hopefully that'll make it's way into the song and not suffer from not-bright-enough production (like GMAYL imo). I think the vocal is a bit too quiet too, on Confessions her voice fitted that type of music well and was quite prominent, this is a similar kind of sound but I'd like it more if her vocals were louder. The intro music to the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange project sounded great, and some people have said that that might be part of the song, just a rumour though.

There's definitely potential with that I think, I don't want a disappointment Madonna! Mert and Marcus will most likely do a great job on the video though.

It's a tiny snippet and there's a chance it'll have a few tweaks here and there. I do really like it though, I think it's really fun and catchy

BUT is it a mere dance track?? right in essence dance music in full can be considered "Mere" right...and while yes the Madonna that is there right now is completely different to the Madonna that was before...but at the same point and same sweep of the brush she very much is the Madonna we have loved her whole career.

Now with this song it will be what was intended to be the lead song and be a song to make an impact in the Dance market...the more experimental, unusual songs will be on the album as well as ballads and other high energy stuff.

Now we also all know she never repeats herself too which will be very intreresting here too. Lets keep open minded with it too...because i reckon a few strings had been pulled too, while she is making the music she wants to we have to accept that but also Interscope want money so by mixing it up we will have everything on MDNA.

Very interesting...well what she said in interviews was that Wild is the polar opposite to Luvin in vibe so i am thinking that the snippet there is from that mix together of it Luvin and Radio and not changed a bit. But it will be loud, brash and commercial.

And it is interesting what you say here, it is obvious Madonna ahs played with her vocals a lot this album the lighter sounds....and i loved how she utlised her voice for the Confessions album that mix of euphoric tones to her voice, her power preachy vibes and distortion through vocoder....it is powerful and i reckon she definitely should do that.

We will see, i wonder if she will do Dita/Talky singy in the song? it sounds like she may.

But regardless the video will be immense with the three Ms together too!

Perhaps she chose this particular part of the song because it fits in with GMAYL (which it turns into), a la the light vocals and smaller production? It would be a bit odd if this song was all brash (which I hope it will be to an extent) and then GMAYL comes on all of a sudden and people feel underwhelmed? Especially considering GMAYL was the song people were meant to focus on at the time. Hmm.

I'd love that, Madonna does those talky bits brilliantly, like in Sorry, it could easily have come off as cringey but it worked. That'd be awesome.

yes, it's a bit disappointing. Even when she's actually had nothing new to say (as in recent years) she's always managed to deliver something that was innovative and highly polished.

Maybe it's unfair to criticise after only hearing one and a bit songs, so I personally won't be joining the 'Flopping Hard' brigade just yet Maybe there'll be something on the album to restore my faith in her, I hope so but on what I've heard so far... disappointing.

well kind of impossible to form an opinion off this snippet so I'll reserve judgement until I hear more

Madonna - Talky SIngy >>>>>>life!

I really hope she does tbh.

And i get what you mean, plus i think they were just miixed up due to iheartradio broadcasting it...the vocal on Luvin was distorted on that mix too if i remember.

So i definitely hope there will be intense beats...like really heavy, sweaty and throbbing.

I do love that everyone has an opinion on it based on 23 seconds of low quality.

The full song will paint a full vibe and direction for what it is capable of. But lyrically it looks basic but at the same point it is being alledged that the lyrics that did spread were demo/fake perhaps....so we will see until official stuff happens

But lets not get into "flop" crap becausre that is just nonsense!

lets wait until the full song...and erm, the album which is what matters

I know, and some opinions are rather severe already too!

Regardless of some people...even if it does turn out to be something truly incredible they will hate it because that is who they are.

That's true, yeah as a whole clip the focus was definitely steered towards GMAYL, the verse was distorted and slowed down until the chorus kinda broke through, there didn't seem to be any kind of editing/focus like that to the other two songs, but then they could have been editted on purpose like that? Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see yeah.

Lol at me scrutinizingly analysing about minute's worth of audio . It could easily sound very similar all the way through the song, but we haven't got that long to wait I don't think, it's only 5 weeks until the album itself is out so.

Yeah i know...and some people are treating the DS late news like actual news when this clip was out ages ago lol. And everyone were positive then all of a sudden...oh 20 seconds of low quality audio from the remix of the sonvs tovether....oooooh i hate the whole thing PULEASE!

3 weeks until video and song methinks....maybe 2 at the least Either way i cannot wait to hear it and see the completed video! regardless i am just really honoured she is making music still and adding to her already massive legacy!

the hey eh eeeh eh hook will be very instant. Reminds me fondly of the Till The World Ends woah oh oh oh oh oah oh oh! hook chant.

I hope its as effective on the full song! should be equally as effective as an album introduction
