Haven't seen any of them yet but the interviews she made at the time are quite interesting in that sense and sort of give a hint of where her mind is at creativewise. I'm not saying she's being lazy with her music - still think HC was a solid effort and even if I'm not entirely sold as a fan on GMAYL/GGW, they're good tunes - but if she feels filmmaking is now the medium to use for her to express herself as an artist and pushing the envelope, we're unlikely to have another groundbreaking album from her anytime soon.

At least this post (above) is constructive! However, with regards to her lyrics, it is rumoured that there are some deep, apologetic lyrics on some of the album tracks. For instance "Gang Bang" tells of abuse towards women and the "victim" wanting to kill her persecutor. "I ****ed Up" apparently tells of the mistakes she made towards others during her career. "Superstar" is supposedly a song that tells of the affects being a superstar can have on the family. I would say we shouldn't write MDNA off as all no nonsensical!

- She's been written off already musically and I find it quite strange considering that this era is just starting!? I know my post ended on a sad note but I'm not giving up on MDNA just yet
. The info you've got about the themes of the songs is very intriguing...I read as well Beautiful Killer is a tribute to Alain Delon and Madonnarama speculates on I'm A Sinner being a personal take on Act of Contrition with a 60's vibe!?
