Haven't seen any of them yet but the interviews she made at the time are quite interesting in that sense and sort of give a hint of where her mind is at creativewise. I'm not saying she's being lazy with her music - still think HC was a solid effort and even if I'm not entirely sold as a fan on GMAYL/GGW, they're good tunes - but if she feels filmmaking is now the medium to use for her to express herself as an artist and pushing the envelope, we're unlikely to have another groundbreaking album from her anytime soon. ”

At least this post (above) is constructive! However, with regards to her lyrics, it is rumoured that there are some deep, apologetic lyrics on some of the album tracks. For instance "Gang Bang" tells of abuse towards women and the "victim" wanting to kill her persecutor. "I ****ed Up" apparently tells of the mistakes she made towards others during her career. "Superstar" is supposedly a song that tells of the affects being a superstar can have on the family. I would say we shouldn't write MDNA off as all no nonsensical!

Thank You - She's been written off already musically and I find it quite strange considering that this era is just starting!? I know my post ended on a sad note but I'm not giving up on MDNA just yet. The info you've got about the themes of the songs is very intriguing...I read as well Beautiful Killer is a tribute to Alain Delon and Madonnarama speculates on I'm A Sinner being a personal take on Act of Contrition with a 60's vibe!?

I really like it Madge is impressing me. Dare I say GMAYL has grown on me too

I loved it from the start but its cerrtainly a catchy tune. After a few listens its stuck in your head. I can imagine this being blasted across the radio all summer.

Lawd it just gets better and better

and she is plagarising herself

I love that she has evoked the whole kinda psychadelic/trippy styles of COADF beautiful images

But this song..the album version with the intro...it is FI-I-I-I-RE!

The more I listen the more I like it. I can't stop humming the tune in my head all day!

Its not hit me yet but I'm sure it'll grow on me.

The artwork however is ridiculous. She's been airbrushed to within an inch of her life. Its getting too cringeworthy desperate now and Madonna's too good to have the old grandma trying to be young image...She just looks daft and I'm sure teenagers will say the same.

I hope this one's a HUGE smash for her though.

To me it sounds like a rejected song from Britney's Femme Fatale album.

It's OK, nothing special. That's two tracks from the album now that have been decidedly average. It sounds like a watered down "Get Together" that wasn't quite good enough to make "Confessions".

I'm not surprised to see certain people on here getting moist over it. Madonna could release a single of her farting and an accompanying music video of her seal clubbing and certain people on here would proclaim it to be the best thing she's ever done. Talk about easily pleased. I guess some people's expectations are too high but then we are talking about Madonna here. She's someone who has created a lot of great pop songs in the past and is more than capable of releasing far better material than what we've heard off the new album so far. Hopefully the rest of MDNA will be better and not so generic.

I'm looking forward to Kylie's acoustic album and her new studio album waaaaaaay more.

Nice pic but the song is doing absolutely nothing for me, neither did GMAYL.

Masterpiece however is brilliant. So all is not lost just yet.

It appealed to me more than GMAYL did, that's for sure.

In many ways I am pleased. The video will probably give it a boost but every single review for the album have said the same, that Girl Gone Wild is the weakest track there and they cannot understand why its a single.

So hopefully this will make them go for Gang Bang or I'm Addicted for the 3rd single.

It's the 2012 version of Erotica/Justify My Love

I'm not sure what to think from the trailer video. I got Erotica/Human Nature vibes from it but I wish it were a little brighter but I won't judge until the full clip is released, it might be done very well.

The scenes were there are the shirtless guys moving around with the silhouettes (I don't know how to describe it) look like they could be taken from backdrops to a Kylie tour.

Everything about it ---- the Song and the video -- just seems so dated.

It's like something she would have put out years ago

I like the song. But the video, I'm afraid I've seen it all before. Madonna used to be the Queen of originality both in music and video. While I can't argue against her music because of what I've heard of MDNA thus far it's great, I must say I am disappointed with the video. She can do so much better.

However I will reserve full judgement until I've seen it in full.

The video would make a good tour backdrop but for a full on music video I'm not so sure

I thought the same. Shame, but I shall reserve judgement until I see the full version.

Well, when I read so many commenting on this, I was expecting a lazy rehash of Erotica/Justify but I've seen none of that. References of JML are obvious but I see also some nods to Human Nature, Sorry, her photoshoot for her D&G glasses collection and a general vibe that bring me right back to Truth or Dare. Love what I see though

Madge's technique to constantly reference herself is much better than her copying from other artists. and this is just a subtle reminder for other copycats that she did them first by showing the younger generations how she did it then. the next video would probably be a new concept. just glad she's back in her sexy erotic ways. can't imagine Madge without the sex factor. it's like Sharon Stone without Basic Instinct.

As a song, it isn't great and it isn't terrible.

I hope the other tracks on the album are better than Gimme All Your Luvin' and Girls Gone Wild, though. Maybe Madonna's just run out of things to say after so long in the business?

They should be better than the 1st Two releases. A lot of track by track reviews of the album have said positive critiques. She's just having fun anyway and making not so serious stuff than she had. it's her way of loosening up after a stressful divorce and being now a single parent. Madonna without fun and sex would be just bland.
