This is such a great yet sad song. Is she singing about the death of a child do you think?

It's a gem! Just brilliant!! Too bad it was an iTunes exclusive, it deserved to be on the main album!

Lyrically, this song is like 'Birds Of Prey', noone knows for sure what she's talking about. We can all interpret it in different ways, but noone's sure. And that's why this song is a teaser of how awesome, unique, meaningful and quirky the original album without the label interventions could have been...

One of the girls from Ladytron said Christina wanted Birds Of Pray to be the lead single but the label interferred with the album and made her record more ''radio friendly'' hits.

Such an insult to Christina. She has given RCA sales of over 40 million. The least they could have done is let her have one album the way she wanted it to be.

IKR! I've heard Christina and Sia wanted the lead single to be a track called 'Lollipop' and that's not even on the album! Unlike other fans, I actually think Christina was pleased enough with the final album, but she would have been much more praised and successful had the label opted for her real and genuine concept...Wasted opportunity, it had the potential to be a career defining album.

On to the next one, though. She's a priority for her label now. After messing up the careers of ALL their household names in 2010 and 2011, I think RCA is starting to get their stuff together...hopefully

I just hope Christina uses the rejected tracks from 'Bionic' for her future work. Ladytron and Le Tigre wouldn't say no to collaborating with her again. They've said so themselves

I doubt we will get this supposed new album until early next year imho. Christina always gives a date of when she expects it to be out, in this case summer 2012, but the reality however is always six to ten months after this date.

Its so annoying being a Christina fan sometimes. I wish she was like Rihanna!

I love this song, I cried the first time I heard it. I do think it's about the death of a child, though I could be wrong. That's what I gathered from the lyrics, anyway.

It should have been on the main album rather than just being a bonus track on iTunes

I think we'll get the new album this year, around winter, around the time of the big award shows (VMA's, AMA's, EMA's) and of the premiere of the 3rd season of 'The Voice'. I want her to take her time, though. I seriously CANNOT wait! But I'd rather wait for something epic and well planned than get something rushed and half hearted soon. She has been working on the album for almost a year, so I think she'll have wrapped up in a month or two and then they just need to premiere the single at the right time

Spoiler

Brilliant song. I always thought it was sort of a "if you or I were to die, know this" kind of song to her newborn son?

Not gonna lie, I listen to the bonus tracks more than the actual album (minus Bobblehead, as fun as it is ). They're stellar. If you combine them with the odd gems from the standard release, you already have a much better album and an inclination of what the original Bionic would have been like. The album that never was.

Bionic
Elastic Love
Monday Morning
Birds of Prey
I Am (Stripped)
You Lost Me
Lift Me Up
Stronger Than Ever
Little Dreamer

It annoys me how dismissive people are over this album. Half of it is indeed mediocre/crap, but it's not ALL bad. The proportion of good to bad songs is far more favourable than other, more popular, albums I could mention.

I have been listening to Bionic alot recently and its a great album on the whole. That silly whole ''Gaga copycat'' nonsense overshadowed the album which was a shame.

I think if Not Myself Tonight, Desnudate, I Hate Boys, My Girls and Vanity had been taken away and replaced with the bonus tracks, including Little Dreamer, it would have been a solid album.
