iPhone 4s - data roaming settings
I'm going to Prague tomorrow, the first time I've been abroad with my iPhone 4s. I'm worried the phone is going to do something like update my e-mail or Facebook or some app or other will track my location in the background and I'll end up paying a fortune for data roaming charges.
How do I make absolutely sure this doesn't happen? It's not obvious in the settings. Thanks in advance! |

I've recently been to USA with my 4S and just for belt and braces I would stick it in airplane mode when out and about (needed it for a camera) and turned it off back in the villa where there was wifi.
Also made the settings changes listed in a previous post, especially the Cellular Data one which restricts data to wifi. |

By Default your iphone 4s should be set to DATA ROAMING OF but its worth checking first. Check if your hotel has wifi, would be a lot cheaper then roaming!
