I agree

Although Fanmail remains my favourite. Never understood the fuss and acclaim that Crazy Sexy Cool got.

Celine Dion does immense albums.

Great singles, weak albums just about sums up Whitney Houston!

To be honest this applies to most mainstream pop artists, though there are certainly exceptions. As others have said, the obvious one for me is Rihanna. While she has had a few great album tracks here and there, and 'Rated R' bucks the trend, her singles generally stick out like a sore thumb. When I heard 'Loud' when it first came out, I correctly predicted every song that would later become a single and I'm sure many others were able to as well.

Cheryl Cole, on the whole has fantastic singles but disappointing albums. While there are some decent album tracks (stuff like Rain On Me, Waiting, Stand Up) there is SO much filler - it kind of ruins the better moments.

No agree - there are some terrible tracks on 21.Even though MOR / adult contemporary torch music is not exactly my favourite type of music. There is loads of filler on that album.I can at least see why the leading tracks are popular, if not exactly pop, even though they are top of the pop charts

"Fanmail" could have done with losing a few tracks as it was a bit overlong, but "CrazySexyCool" is one of the best album of the '90s if you ask me.

Yes im a kylie loon so im not having a go, im kind of the opposite with Kylie. Especially with the last few albums i think many of the album tracks are better than the singles. I think kylies weakest albums are km94 and body language and as a kylie loon i admit outside the singles the tracks in general were weak.

In stark contrast albums like light years, fever, aphrodite and enjoy yourself are full of tracks that could have been singles, aphrodite struggled for killer singles though.

But back to the topic Sophie Ellis Bextor, outside the singles i have fund her albums to be very weak and Keanes last 2 albums have been the same although the oppsoite for their first 2.

The likes of Taio Cruz/Jay Sean/Iyaz/Tinchy Stryder/Chipmunk etc who clearly have the obvious 'big singles' on the album and about ten dreary predictable r'n'b/rap cliche songs that have absolutely no depth or personality to them.

For me it's probably Beyonce and Rihanna, aside from Rated R.

For me it has to be

Kelly Clarkson (apart from Breakaway)

Can't agree with any of those.

I skip one track of Kelly's on any album - One Minute from My December.

Pink? I'm Not Dead, Funhouse and Mizundastood are awesome albums.

As for Christina, Stripped is amazing, Back To Basics is great, and I even liked Bionic, so I can't agree there either.

Beyonce's 'I Am.. Sasha Fierce' has loads of great album tracks!

Radio, Smash Into You, Disappear, Scared of Lonely, Hello, are all great.

4 and B'Day have some good ones aswell.

I don't agree with the people saying her at all.

I should have put aside from I Am...Sasha Fierce in my last post. That's my favourite album of hers. 4, aside from the singles and I Was Here, I don't really listen to it. Same goes for her other albums.

The only one I can name off the top of my head right now is Pussycat Dolls, specifically their second album. I don't think I have ever listened fully to that album in one go before.
