One Direction thanked Radio 1 because they want Radio 1 to keep playlisting their future singles. All artists suck up to Radio 1 for that reason basically.

One Direction don't have to worry about Capital, since I think Capital will play anything they release at the moment, but Radio 1 could stop supporting them any moment, so they need to suck up to them publicly.

My main issue with tonight's show is that the international winners are the only people from their category that actually turned up. So did they come because they knew they won, or did they win because they turned up?

JEEEEEZ, all the music snods out in full tonight. They won, get over it. I have been to a few parties in the last few months and when there song came on ALL ages got up and danced and sang to it.....and I dont even like it myself, but good luck to them.

That does not mean it was better than any of the other acts in category, those boys are autotuned to within an inch of their lives, the rest have real talent.
