Hey guys,

So I recently bought a black&white striped cardigan, it's different to what I usually buy. Even better it was half-price!

Anyways, I was just wondering what I could wear with the cardigan- I could wear black tops, but I feel it's a bit boring.
I'd prefer something long to cover my bottom, but wouldn't mind it being short at the front? Like those crop type dresses.
What kind of colours should I team the cardigan with?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi, i would go for something plain coloured as i would think that would look nicer than a patterned top. Maybe in white / black / pink / purple. You could wear a dress or tshirt or maybe even a blouse?
I'm not sure what you mean by crop type dresses i'm afraid so can't comment on that!
It's a bit hard to tell you without seeing a picture of the cardigan too.

Something else i do if i want to 'jazz' something up a bit is wear a scarf! or statement jewellery

hope that might help you a little bit! x

Hi,
yeah i was thinking about plain coloured tops, and will defiently try the ones you suggested. I was thinking about buying a blouse so that could be perfect!

Crop type dresses, the dressed which are longer at the back than the front(so does cover your bottom)

This is the cardigan itself- http://www.hm.com/gb/product/95929?a...rticle=95929-D
The model is wearing what looks like a black vest top,to me, with the cardigan buttoned up.

Definelty will be wearing statement jewellery /scarf!

Thanks for the help, hope the picture kind of helps you as well! x

I think it looks good just with a plain black top underneath, add some jewellery and your sorted.

I like that cardigan! thank s for the link - its much easier to picture it now!
It does look nice just like that with a plain black top, but another colour would look fine too i reckon.
as long as it's something plain you should be fine with most things - as i think something patterned may be too much with the stripes. But a plain dress - a cropped one in black would look nice i think x

Would it look good with a black or white dress?

Yes, patterned tops/dresses will be too over the top. What i really want is tops that cover my bottom, so long tops because i dont feel comfortable with wearing a short top...
Im going to buy a cropped dress pretty soon then.
thanks again x

Yeah I would agree with this.
How about a black dress with white bows scattered over it? Or would that be too much?

I never like to mix patterns so stripey cardigan and bow patterned dress, sounds a bit much to me.
Thats purely my opinion though about what I would feel comfortable wearing. Maybe try it on together and see how you feel?
I personally would go with a plainer dress I think.
