Well, she clearly didn't flip the bird at James so a rather silly video really.

She has gotta be the most unclassy artist ever to come out of the UK, a total Chav.

But flipping the bird along with other rude hand gestures is something she does a fair bit of.

blur were the best british band of the 90's and have achieved more critiical success in their career than adele has so far, the biggest award in the brits is outstanding contribution and so to fit every thing in they had to cut adele off. damon albarn did witter on during his speech though, you should also bear in mind that the 20 million album selling gorillaz ( which albarn co-created, wrote all the songs for and sang lead vocals)were probably the biggest british success of the noughties

To be fair, it's not James Corden's fault or Blur's. If ITV insist on having ad breaks every 10 minutes then they should make sure the show is condensed down enough to allow for it.

Blur were the Lifetime Achievement Winners, the recipients of which always get to close the show with a few songs. They were meant to play for 11 mins (and believe they did) and only 5 of that was shown.

Personally I'd rather watch two hours of them than have to witness shite like One Direction winning an award.

Mismanaged by ITV - and like others have said, they don't seem to mind delaying the news for football!!

I thought it was hilarious.

She was boring the audience to tears.

The Oscars have a history of cutting speeches short and it shouldn't really matter what the award is - each winner has their time to shine and due to scheduling commitments, some need to be cut.

That was really shit programming, to be honest.
I feel a little bad for Adele.
And she even got patriotic, and then they cut her off.

And did Blur really need all that time?

I did enjoy the chart battles between Blur and Oasis though.

I like Blur, but it was unnecessary and they weren't even that good tonight, to be honest.

I'll think you'll find oasis or radiohead would hold that title but thats your opinion.

James just posted about it on Twitter. Seems quite shocked he had to do it.

Adele is a chav who should only be heard when she is singing.

It is a miracle that such a voice comes from something so filthy.

Is that why the audience booed when she was cut off?

I thought the night started well. Set design was great. Lighting was stunning and the pyro too. But things started to slip as the production went on and it became more and more rushed. Corden was gabbling his lines so fast they were increasingly thrown away. And finally came the appalling gaff from the producer/director to cut off the two most important segments, Adele's speech on Best Album and then final act Blur, although in the latter case it's become a pretty obvious ploy to drag viewers to switch to ITV2. By doing that though they spoil it for the viewers of the main show who should see the full set from the final act. I'd sooner see an edited version an hour later which shows the best stuff and not the less important fillers...such Corden being forced to ask pointless questions eg to Kylie...on the lines of 'which act do you think will last'. Nobody gives a damn...just get on with the music and the awards FFS!

Another classless act by Adele, reinforcing my opinion that apart from her vocals she is incredibly unlikeable.

Shame our country is being represented all over the world by such a chav.

You missed the bit 'in your opinion'.

As for Adele, at least she made it to the podium. Back in 1988 when the 'best single' was the main award of the night, Rick Astley was cut off on his way to the stage when the Who started to perform because of an overrun.
