I can't see the Olympics being much better.
So many people were making goofy faces at the camera and wasn't it funnny (not) when people kept standing up in front of Corden which seemed rehearsed. He struggled with the autocue all night;Sun reader ?
Is that the best we have.Flo seems to think she's at a Druid festival and it's all spells, hands and feet. Not attractive and belting out a song does not mean it's good.No melody.
The worse performer was overhyped Ed Sheeran.Ed it's called melody pleaase find it and a comb plus stop pretending you can't afford a decent guitar which can say in tune.
Yanks spanked us again since Rhianna showed how it's done and Bruno's performance shows the level to aim at -Olly who? Another sick joke. What was he trying to do.
Adele is fine for the moment especially when she strarts to write her own songs entirely and look luv "the suits" pay your wages and that cockney twang "I'm one of you/working class heroe" won't wash because you live the life of a suit.Nice mansion luv.
Blur were absolute toilet.Who decided to dig them up.Again cockney accents and some actor having a go a swell.Get over it Brit pop should be dead but we have to resurrect the old.How original was the Blur headline choice who made the worse thank you speech ever. The rest of the world will change the channel when they see this debacle.

Award ceremonies are bollocks.

Blur were pants in the 90s. Yes, they were better than Oasis but that doesn't say much.

It was boring.

Corden was totally unfunny and back to his 'aren't I the best' smugness.

Blur where pant's as usual-still playing up the mockney singing accent Damon I see? The guy(actor) who use to be in EE (playing himself) and was in the Parklife Vid (playing himself) looked like he was wrecked and wanted a fight

But again it nothing new the Brits have been s@it ever since 96.

And the NME awards wen't kind of the same way in 2002 I think.

I was there just too see Noel and Damon but for people too think that the Blur from yester year were going too be good now were wrong. But again Blur best last years were in the late 90's 97 and 13.Think Tank should have not happend in my view but Damon's work with the Gorillaz was fantastic and I love Blur in there Lesiure and Modren Life Is Rubbish era.Parklife was too much a blue print for Brit Pop along with Morning Glory and The Great Escape was rubbish but they lost the Brit Pop tag later.Noel and Chris coming together was great and when and he was seen hanging out and talking with Florence and Adle was something that I would have never thought Oasis man would do.But I don't know why we need American musicans on the Brits cause it more about are music is it,and like everyone else thought Keith Lemon can't stand him same with Cordon.

Blur in the last days of glory.

I don't think the Brits reflect deserved recognition of music artists. I mean honestly, the nominees included JLS, Pixie Lott and The Wanted...such radio 1 friendly, mundane shite.

British award show ceremonies have been boring as long as I can remember tbh. The American ones are usually more entertaining.

The Brits hasn't been good for over a decade. I'm surprised people still bother with it.

I thought it was very good actually. James did a great job of presenting the show, and it all went well with some really good performances!

One of the few good things about last night was that it didn't have too much of a theme. Simple stage with a few coloured emblams. I hate it when things have stage sets that are too over-designed, or have a "space" theme or "summer" theme.

I just roll my eyes whenever I hear about the Brits.

The Smash Hits Poll Winners Party was so much better

Last night was the highest ratings for the Brits in 7 years. It wasnt all that bad, but I think it has a bit of a disjointed feel, think the presenter should be up on stage rather than sitting down and walking around the tables chatting to various celebrities - it should be the awards and the performers, im not interested in hearing from the likes of Jessie J who didnt even win anything.

They should bring awards show like that back. OK so 1D would probably win everything and there would be loads of screaming but they where fun and usually a good laugh.

The show was crying out for your Liam Gallaghers/Ian Browns/Jarvis Cockers etc

The whole "Oh, i'm so overwhelmed... I'd like to thank my friends, family and my producer etc." was so bloody tiresome

Baffles me why the show tries to be so formal... it's a trashy awards show and it's good at being that.

Ratings aside whoever wrote that article was obviously watching a different show to me:
The evening was then taken to an incredible finale with a show stopping performance from the Outstanding Contribution to Music recipients Blur that had the entire O2 Arena on their feet. Their hit-packed set (which included Song 2 and Parklife) brought the house down with some of the biggest songs of their career. During the show The BRITs also paid moving tributes to both Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse with video montages.

Blur were pretty awful and I was looking forward to them - they sounded like some band at school who'd just learned to play their instruments and Damon's voice sounded painful especially on Song 2 - I bet he had a sore throat the next day.

The rest of it was just drunks trying to get in front of the camera.

I'm pleased Adele won but I'm also very pleased she doesn't sing like she talks. She sounds like she belongs on that God-awful programme TOWIE.

Thankfully she sings like an angel.

Yes I hate that - Blur thanked everybody from the record company to the cleaner - BORING!

They should be banned from thanking more than 3 people.

We don't care who you want to thank! Just say thanks and get off and let us see the next award and listen to some music.
