That in particular is ridiculous, since when was a tribute a 15 second video. They had enough time to organise a proper tribute (especially with Amy), instead of having Blur drone through 11 minutes of toss.

I actually thought James Corden did a pretty good job as host and Florence/Rihanna delivered by far the best performances.

I thought Rihanna was a bit rubbish...

And what was with the lack of duets this year? It's always a highlight. You know it's bad when the biggest start you book is Rihanna with the promise of her winning a clearly fixed award, because it should have went to any of the other nomninee's. And Adele, who was due to win everything anyway.

I think Olly chose the wrong song, he can be so good live but it was the wrong song. Shame we had Kylie just sitting there watching. She's celebrating a big anniversary this year, why not get her to duet with Olly or Adele or Flo or something. Anything...

There was no surprise, it just felt like watching an X Factor Sunday episodes from this years series back to back for the live performances with a bit of James Corden thrown in.

Exactly..the Brits has always been second-rate, compared to the US award shows....and interesting that we didn't get the usual pics of the nominees before the winners were announced...probably due to the fact that most of them couldn't be bothered to turn up this year
