Taylor Swift - Inspired By Dr. Seuss!

Link to DS article.

Well, it looks like he had a lasting impact, anyway.

Except she's not as mature, clever or developed in her writing as he was.

We all have to start somewhere, I suppose. But it looks like Taylor is still hugely inspired by his work, and didn't leave his influence behind.
It's easy to hear the influence of children's books on her lyricism.
Little girls do tend to imitate.

And coincidentally Dr. Suess was never really that popular in the UK no matter how hard the publishers etc try to make out he is.........his books are very very American.

A bit like Taylor Swift really - a deadweight in the UK.

Indeed. Maybe there's a relation between Seuss' surrealist children's books, and Taylor Swift's Tweenage Pop.

Dr Suess was popular here.
My friends and I had lots of the books. Our local library had lots of Dr Suess books as did our school library.
My friend has a daughter of primary school age and her and her pals all read or have read the books.

It all makes so much sense to me now. I feel like Oprah when she has one of those Aha moments.

Yeah. Sadly UK prefers hoe-s like Rihanna. Lets not pretend you have a better taste.

Taylor>>>>Rihanna times a million. At least Taylor possesses some talent.

I've only just realised how many s's are in possesses. It's crazy - a 9 letter word made up of just 4 individual letters.

I may be getting a bit "armchair analyst" here, but perhaps carrying this influence into her adult life has affected her level of maturity?

What has Rihanna got to do with anything?

And who said they even like her?

Rated R is the only Rihanna album I can sit through, really. Cold Case Love is good.

I know Taylor Swift isn't beautiful, but that's a bit harsh.

You must have her mixed up with Sarah Jessica Parker.
