Your favourite microwavable snack?
What is the nicest microwavable snack you have tried? I am just eating a micro steak Puka Pie - the crust is still crusty and the filling is nice and rich, far nicer than any Rustlers snack, or micro-chips/micro-pizza imo. I think I might stick the other one on too

You have a pie (or two) for elevenses ?
![]() I have to admit that i only tend to use my microwave to heat milk for hot chocolate or nuke some peas. BUT, i used to buy those little microwave Chicago Town pizzas. They were yummy, but you had to sit staring at them for 10 mins before the cheese was cool enough to eat !! |

I am not sure why we have a microwave lol it's so rarely used. Snacks we tend to make using the george foremen grill as it makes very yummy toasted sandwhiches.

Youngs fish pies - too small for a meal but nice and filling as a snack. Lovely and creamy

I used to eat them all the time when I was at uni, not had one in years now!
Also used to enjoy the microwaveable mashed potato when working at whetherspoons. If there was any going out of date at the end of the shift, I'd snaffle it and take it home. Microwave, mix in grated cheese, microwave for another minute.. really tasty

I love Fries to Go. They come in little red boxes and each chip is in its own little compartment. They come out surprisingly crispy, unlike McCain's which seem to go all soggy. I rarely eat microwave snacks though. Our microwaves gets used for heating milk, beans, peas and soup (not altogether
) and that's it.Back when I was a teen and did shift work I lived on microwave snacks. McCain's micro-pizzas being my personally fav. The thought of eating one now makes me feel queasy. |

Odd but I love Tesco's carrot & swede mash - with black pepper & brown sauce. In fact I've just bought one - I'm going posh today tho' as the finest was half price!

I used to think that, before I had my Puka Pies today....have you tried them?
I think the petrol station near to my place of work sells them. I'll pop in tomorrow and buy one for my dinner. |

Micro chips are nothing compared to Fries to go.
Last time i had a box of Micro Chips, there was only about 8 chips in the box!! ![]() They were all soggy as well. They lacked the gorgeous crispiness of a box of Fries to go. A Rustlers burger with a couple of boxes of Fries to go is heavenly. ![]() Thanks for the Pukka pie info. |

Do the pukka pies actually stay crusty then? How long do they take to cook from frozen?
The worst thing for a regular pie/pasty is to reheat it in a microwave. |

Can anyone remember Chips behaving badly?! Microwave chips with a little compartment of curry sauce. Loved them!
I like Speedy Snacks burgers or Rustlers BBQ Rib |

Lidl do microwave Thai Noodles for £1.50 each; Green Curry, Pad Thai, Satay and Sweet and Sour, good to take to work for lunch.
