How often do you think the person trying the food on a cookery show or slot in another TV show, actually hate the food? I just saw Emma Willis on This Morning take a mouthful of steak and truffle mash; she said it was delicious, but you could tell she hated it really!

I know and often they comment before they've chewed it!
I read somewhere that on shows like masterchef - well the article was on 'Australian MC' that they often have to taste the food a few hours later due to filming etc.

The question that needs answering is:

Are there any puddings that Gregg Wallace won't eat?

There was one the other week on Masterchef that he said was 'too sweet even for him'. Toady almost passed out.

I'd much rather people were honest. It may be the best ingredients and cooked to perfection but it doesn't mean that the person tasting will like it.

Rhod Gilbert was on SK last week and had no problems showing his discust of scollaps.

He was actually quite funny for a change. I love it when people take the piss out of chefs and their arty farty food

Yes it made a refreshing change to see someone who didn't suck up to the chef. JM said the whole point of getting him to eat scallops was to try to get him to like it. To which Rhod said something like, 'i can't stand scallops so why do I want to try something I know i'm not gonna like?' Fair point. You can't make someone like a food they don't like no matter how nice it's cooked.

I think i've seen Philip on This Morning show his dislike for one or two dishes but I agree in general everybody seems to really love whatever it is that's cooked to the point they almost orgasm over it. It's ridiculous.
