The Saturdays confirm ont witter that they are filming a new music video this week!
Una and Rochelle have both just tweeted that they are getting fitted today for their new music video being filmed later this week!
Although, they arent mentioning the song title, making me think that its a brand new song not on "On Your Radar". Una: on my way in for a fitting for our new music video! @Frank_Strachan has his work cut out for him to find anything to "fit" me now lol! ![]() Rochelle: Just at a fitting for our video shoot tomorrow for our brand new single, can't wait for you guys to hear it x

Exciting news! I wonder what the new single is going to be. Is it going to be from OYR or a brand new song?

You've got to hand it to them for trying though. ![]() I mean, they as a group are getting older, the fan base is not huge and younger music fan's are into other act's. Personally I think they are flogging a dead horse although on a positive note it would be nice to proved wrong given that as a group, they aren't actually that bad. |

I used to quite like them but i think they have been managed really badly the last few albums and i think the only reason they are still around is that their is next to no competition!

I'd love "Get Ready, Get Set" to be a single.

Don't see why this will flop, it's not being released in the fourth quarter and will most likely be an uptempo, which the public want from them and they've proven longevity in the top 10 bar the blip from My Heart Takes Over, but that suffered from lack of promo, released in the fourth quarter, wrong time, being a ballad and the wider public not even knowing the song was released. It's pretty sad though that people are so obsessed with artists flopping and not flopping, just enjoy the music or don't if you're not interested. They're not bothering you releasing music, for me the more Sats music the better. Plenty of room for everyone. If you're not interested in them, why bother posting.. I love them and they've been in the studio with Xenomania recently so I'm expecting good things now. I really don't understand why people look on The Saturdays as a flop act, several, if not the majority, of their singles have outsold Girls Aloud's and they're hailed as pop gods! Baffling. ![]() The Sats are poor at selling albums, I'll give you that though. But they're not going anywhere, press and the media love them, radio support them, their record label seem to stick by them through thick and thin, they're the most successful act on their (Fascination) label and media interest will intensify this year even more with Rochelle and Una's weddings, Una's baby, new music. I'm looking forward to hearing new material. And they've been in the studio with Nerina Pallot - very excited!

I don't understand why they're not more popular, they've released some great pop music.

'Fires' is amazing!Basically youngsters are too image-conscious and it would'nt be cool to like a girl band of this type I feel. ![]() I agree about youngsters being image conscious, I'm the most vocal out of my friends to like them, but all my friends have them on their iPods and iTunes etc, but wouldn't ever shout off the rooftops about loving them. I expect that's the case in many places. They do have appeal from young girls, teens, to young adults to older people. Everyone I know knows who they are, knows about them thanks to press and media etc, know some of their songs but wouldn't go out of their way to say they like them. It was the same for Girls Aloud, where people felt it wasn't cool enough to like them until they came out with Tangled Up and Cheryl being on X Factor. Hopefully The Sats will have their pivotal turning point soon and truly explode.

Apparently it's 'The Way You Watch Me'. The collab with Travie McCoy that is widely regarded by most Saturdays fans as the worst track on their album.
![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsOgvHQTqY8 Yep. That monstrosity of a song was chosen over THIS pure gem... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNZ5R1pS4_w |

I hate that track. But watching heavily pregnant Una struggle through some monstrous dance routine is going to be an interesting viewing.
Think I would have preferred Get Ready, Get Set. |

In terms of their albums, the singles should have been:
Chasing Lights: Up, Issues, Work, Keep her. Wordshaker: Ego, One shot, Here standing. Headlines: Higher, Missing you, Puppet. On Your Radar: All fired up, Faster, Get ready get set, Do what you want with me, White lies. |

I would have said:
Chasing Lights - Up, Work, Issues & then If This Is Love (so IMO the right songs, wrong order) + possibly Chasing Lights on the end. Wordshaker - Ego, Lose Control, Denial Headlines - Higher, (probably Lose Control), Karma On Your Radar - All Fired Up, Get Ready Get Set, Last Call, White Lies, Notorious. |

It's strange that The Sats seem to be the only active girlband in the UK at the moment. I know Little Mix are waiting in the wings for their proper launch.
