I had too take one of my older handrears too the vets this morning. His little boy bits wouldnt go back in.
They have kept him in and think they might possibly have too amputate it. They have managed too put it back for now and castraited him but i dont think its going too work. There trying him on medication if that doesnt work tonight they will amputate it tomorrow. This means they will make him a girl cat instead. The vet also doesnt know why its happened if its something thats atomically wrong with him they dont know. Whats suprised me is that the vet she is lovely and about 45 has never seen this happen in a cat before. I just want my bracket home with me. His brother is missing him. Guinness and kado are sitting together which they never do.

Get well Bracket. Sounds a really strange thing to happen, hope he will be okay and back home with you all soon.

Glad he's on the mend

Its not unheard of in dogs and castration usually helps there - a lot less to get excited about

In dogs, if castration doesn't help then owners can often be taught how to put it back It involves gloves and ky jelly I think I'd prefer to amputate!!

We'll remind you of that, if it's ever your "bits" giving trouble.

Its stayed in. Took him for a check up this morning hes got more ab and the vet that saw him said it had started too be less swollen. I still havent been given a bill have asked though. If it does pop back out he will have too go for the surgery/ The vets did try too get it too go back but it wouldnt but they neutered him and stitched it back inside so hopefully it wont pop out.
