Never mind the fixation there seems to be with gay related storylines, whatever happened to their fixation with people in fancy dress costumes?? Nearly every week we used to get people dressed as fairies or characters from star wars

Got to say I agree with Sue. I've not been into Doctors as much lately either and don't always bother to catch up like I maybe once did. I couldn't care less about Freya and Mandy and certainly don't care for this whole drugs trial thing with her aunt. The Hollins family have grated on me since day one with only the odd exception here and there. Cherry and Jimmi are the worst matched couple ever. Cherry the most irritating character ever. Surely at this rate Jimmi will be wishing he was still with Sissy and Ivor Juggins .
Heston seems to barely feature these days, I'm guessing that's when Owen Brenman was directing episodes maybe? Elaine seems to be more of a filler character than a central one which is a shame because Janet Dibley is a decent enough actress. The only saving grace is Daniel and Zara and Mrs Tembe. I know all soaps go through bad patches but I really hope things pick up soon, maybe the looming fire might inject a bit of excitement into things

Half of my family come from Yorkshire, but I didn't see any resemblance! They don't even say 'Ay up'! and don't eat mushy peas with everything My family are from the West Riding - maybe it's different in the other Ridings?

Fridays Doctors...

Lol at Karen she really is brilliant. I think she's my favourite Character atm. Every scene is a joy to watch.

Immie's hair does she change it weekly or something?
I wonder what colour is next on her list?

The truth is out and it's not looking good for Freya. Kevin feels a bit guilty but what did he expect will happen once he told Howard?

The daily storyline was quite good too.

Looking forward to tomorrows episode (well Todays) looks very dramatic but sadly it's the last episode for 3 weeks

Here's Tomorrows Doctors Episode Thread

8/10

I'm slowly catching up now. I don't like Freya with Mandy, I thought she was much better on her own Mandy just seems to make her boring. Howard is growing on me slowly but there is still a way to go. Why so little of Heston and Elaine. I liked how Elaine stood up to Howard and did what she thought was best and not what he wanted when they were getting re-accredited. And when Mrs Tembe said in one episode I will call the police, I knew it would be Rob that she called he is after all the only policeman that does anything in Leatherbridge after all

Why should Kevin be sympathetic to her, Freya is the one that messed up.

Freya didn't look as though she could make it inside the house, let alone do anything inside it. They're now rushing through plotlines when they used to drag them out interminably.

I agree I find Freya either sticks to the rules if it suits her and sod the rest or if she's the one breaking them expects others to be her mates and defend or agree with her
It annoys me when she does that !

Well think it more due I bit emotional at mo but today at the end did make me cry and I never cry lol

Any bets on whether ex-Brookside/Coronation Street actress (whose name I've forgotten) has had a facelift and/or botox?

As for flatlining - I can't see it being Freya as she didn't appear to have anything actually wrong with her coming out of the house, whereas Kevin had been in for quite a while and had inhaled quite a lot of smoke.

I can see your point but in soaps that means nothing just look at holby sometimes the visiters go in to check on loved ones and they end up dead

You watch Mrs Tembe will go due to the shock and the owl

Human beings behave in an illogical manner.
I giggled through most of that, the whole Kevin fire thing from when the lamp went over started me off.

Kevin was going to defend her, but he folded like a pack of cards both when Howard started and again when his GF gave him an 'out'
I don't think much of her.

Right I don't usually watch this for months at a time.
What is this 'thing' between Freya and Kevin?
There was some mention of sitting outside someone's house the other day, I take it Freya's done that with Kevin?

This drug trial thing, I've been on them and they always have more people in the trial than they need, in case someone has to pull out or just decides they've had enough.
They also have reserves/standbys in case someone pulls out at the beginning, so they can slot them in.
There are usually multiple groups too.

I think Freya is the one that has died, just the way she handed her notice in like that and not having a back up plan for another job.

Watching Howard I can't really take him seriously, just his tone of voice and the way he acts is so wooden, he just comes across a cartoon chracter or just a joke.

She looks like she's aged a bit, nothing unnatural about her face that I could see.
Certainly didn't look like the clock had stopped since she left Brookie.
I quite fancied her when she was on Brookie too
'Leave that no-mark Jimmy and come and have a quiet life with me...'

Kevin and Freya had a very drunken one night stand a few months ago (apparently it was three times in the one night (a storyline obviously written by a man ). I think that they have feelings for each other which neither of them want to admit to.

They're over cooking the Ex-army thing, then again they like to over-egg the pudding in many respects, Mrs Tembe, the previous Dragon receptionist (who's name I can't remember).
They're there to annoy and exasperate IMO, then to show small snippets of their human side.

I find them a bit one-note myself, with their various 'quirks'
At least they've calmed down with Janet Dibley's new age touchy feely stuff.

Drunken one night stands and that 'it just happened' nonsense
Oh I don't see Kevin as a 3 times a night man.
'There's no go in the boy' as we say.
I could easily see Freya waking him up and 'taking him in hand' as it were.
Mate got caught like that once and tried to make off after a single performance, she wasn't having it 'Oh no you don't' and physically prevented his escape.
I had to listen to it, like an army marching

If the scene of Daniel leaving flowers at the grave is anything to go by, then isn't it likely to be Kevin? Why would he call Freya mate?

Also, if they're shocking someone, they would make sure that Freya and Kevin weren't touching - hence when they shout 'CLEAR!'.
