what the hell is going on in doctors at the moment, its completely boring

hate this new Mandy and how she's been put with Freya

hate Kevin - such a bad actor and annoys me, are the writers trying to make him a younger Daniel?...not working.. Daniel is good looking and was likeable unlike Kevin.

What's this new friendship with Kevin and Zara? not even remotely interesting

and why do the writers keep making zara cry every episode, much prefer hard zara that hates everyone and everything, she used to be my favourite character, probably the only reason i watched it was because of her and Daniel, but now they've lost all their spark and have become a couple like everyone else on the show.. boring.

hope the writers do themselves a favour and get rid of Freya, Kevin and Mandy, put zara back to normal, and actually put her back in the show, where has she been? i know she's on maternity leave but she's one of the shows favourite characters don't think they can afford to keep her out this long.

Zara's hormones are all over the place at the moment. She's just a normal new mum. I think the hard Zara will come through occasionally again, but once you become a mum you aren't the same person again - priorities change. She's still one of my favourite characters, and I really like her and Daniel as a couple. I think the progression of their relationship has been very realistic.

You are my favourite poster was beginning to think other people could see things in Kevin that I was missing and that maybe I was watching a different Doctors The epsiode yesterday where he was outraged at his friend two timing and his being appalled by the sexism of his friends was ludicrous. I remember eps where he was lusting over patients and treating women as possible 'tottie' not to mention looking up womens' skirts in some club.If the writers are trying to show a more mature Kevin they wil have to work a lot harder. they achieved it with Daniel but he is much better actor i.e. not wooden and just reciting the lines. Re Kevin,you are my favourite poster I was beginning to think other viewers were watching different programme to me!The writers must think we have no memories of previous episodes if they think that showing sexist, sex/'babe' obsessed Kevin taking the moral high ground over one of his seedy mates two timing is ludicrous - I remember him salivating over patients, treating several women as possible 'tottie', not to mention leering under womens skirts in a club. It worked when they gradually changed Daniel who I also loathed at first, but then it was just the character portrayed but he is a better actor - not wooden and just reciting his lines a la Kevin. The last time I hated Daniel was when he dumped Zara after Izzy's kidnap so I like the way the writers can change our opinions and it happens in most soaps but I don't think I'm going to live long enough in Kev's case
Don't like Freya and Mandy as a couple - like Heston and Marina it got serious too quickly. Cheryl and Freya go on about how hysterically funny etc Mandy is
Marina was played really well - believable as a caring Health visitor and scarily believable in the abuse scenes.

Zara's hormones are all over the place at the moment. She's just a normal new mum. I think the hard Zara will come through occasionally again, but once you become a mum you aren't the same person again - priorities change. She's still one of my favourite characters, and I really like her and Daniel as a couple. I think the progression of their relationship has been very realistic.

I could do, I could "DEEMAAND" they read the thread. They might be scratching their heads unless I give them some preamble about it though!

As for Zara and Daniel, nope, will never succombe to being a lover of that couple. If Zara stays in battle axe mode, I hope people wil give her as good as they get from now on and she'l have to flash that shocked frozen smile that she always does much more as a result! Actually that mantra frozen shocked smile of Zara's when people stand up to her reminds me of Karen's so irritating smile when she's done something that warrants her being called scatty brain!

Had a look at the spoilers, some more good stories/episodes coming up by the looks of it - "ohhhh, I like that"!

I don't care much for Mandy or that she's becoming a regular cast member.
I love Kevin, I think his 'stiff' acting can be overlooked.
I am not impressed with how the potentially brilliant storyline Heston/Marina finished, Elaine seems to have forgotten that Marina went to see her and tried and failed to get help with her temper.
I also wanted to know more about what made Marina like that, was it just a personality trait, or was it some underlying issue that many people out there suffer with .... too simple to just cart her off like that... so we've raised awareness that women can beat men, but we've not really solved anything or helped any viewers out there that may be Marina's or Hestons want to stand up and speak up about their issues.
I love Doctors but there's a huge hole in that storyline, instead we're getting the drippy Mandy ? Why? Freya suits Kevin much better anyway, or some other female.

Yeah. why would Marina be so obliging in leaving without a fuss? If there are no criminal charges against her they couldnt touch her re her job. That storyline would of been more interesting.

Umm, does Frair know her lesbian lover is also staring in Emerdale as a lesbian lover ? Yawn tastic script doctors ... and so much fun when Cherry is looking for another of her PERFECT moments/events .

Sqatters... scum of earth, why we let that dross get away with mugging us over I dont know. In thepry if the property is broken into and let insecure you can then squat.. but as show those breaking in are the ones squatting but youd have to prove that.

It's very strange that you can enter someone's house and live in it and use up their stuff etc and not be prosecuted, but if you entered someone's house and took that same stuff you would be prosecuted as a burglar. If someone took your car or handbag they are classed as a thief, but taking your house is ok? The law needs to change pdq.

You've rid the tv world of Manic Marina and now we have Mopey Mandy. And she is to be a regular? I can't believe how much I dislike her character already. The whole, I played 5-a-side so you should come to my craft sessions smacks of control freakdom. They've known each other a couple of weeks, and had nothing but hassle from day one, yet they have moved in together already? Is Freya using Mandy to cover her feelings for another, namely Kevin?

Loved Kevin and Heston's little chat yesterday. Given his recent problems, it is good to see Kevin has actually grown up a lot as a result. He is a much better character now, in fact, I quite like him.

Really enjoying Doctors right now

Wednesday's episode was yet another brilliant one
I quite liked the storyline with Kevin and that Fit bloke (Duncan) and it was good to see Kevin do the right thing once again.

Heston seemed to enjoy chucking all of Marina's things away and you could tell he really didn't like her choice of food

I thought the scenes with Freya at the Craft evening were very funny 9/10

Thursdays episode-Confused a little bit about the women scared of Red. I get the fact she had problems when she was a kid but where does the whole Red thing come into it?

Lol at Freya hiding everything away

I loved the scenes when Heston opened up to Kevin but also felt sorry for Marina after Julia was rude to her (Understandable though)

Am I right in thinking the squatter girl in today's episode is the same actress who played Rani in The Sarah Jane Adventures? (One of my secret viewing pleasures lol). I of course recognised John-Paul McQueen/Ryan Lamb from Hollyoaks/Emmerdale instantly. Although I found the storyline a little boring, I do like that it made reference to real life events and the riots last year. Little touches like that bring a realer element to the stories instead of them just existing in their own bubble.

Err sorry but she's not. The emmerdale woman is Alicia Eyo who used to be in Bad Girls and Mandy is Danielle Henry who was in Emmerdale c10 years ago. Both Danielle and Lu were in Candy Cabs last year

I stopped watchin Doctors when Zara was pregnant, ranting and raving and doing my head in......I've watched it a couple of times this week and nothing's changed with her.....IMO it's ruining the programme.!!!

When Zara told him at the end that two blue-eyed parents couldn't have a brown-eyed child, then told Kevin she'd lied about it I was a bit confused. Two blue-eyed parents CAN'T have a brown-eyed child as the blue gene is recessive and requires one from each parent.
