Best place to get Oatcakes in Stoke
I will be heading up to Stoke on Sunday and would like to have some oatcakes while I am up there. Normally it's for the footy at Port Vale (Burslem) and I know that area well.
But this time it is Stoke City. There is nowhere near the ground, I know that, so will have to stop on the way. I am looking for the cooked variety - so in a cafe ir something, with Sausage and Bacon etc in them. I can stop anywhere, be it city centre or a local place Thanks in advance |

I'm originally from Stoke but haven't lived there for 10 years, and haven't visited since my mum died 3 years ago, so I'm a bit out of touch, but I believe all the local Tesco do hot oatcakes, or they certainly used to. Or if you're after a small cafe, if yuo divert to go through Tunstall, there's a place in the square that does/did them
But, man, haven't they gone up in price?!! I found some in Tesco when I was near Cheadle Hulme the other week, 86p for 6! My local Tesco used to stock them but don't now, and I really miss them

High Lane Oatcakes are the areas best. Not far from the Vale ground either.
