I watched the last series and was hooked.

Just caught up with this week's episode. Thought it was good. A bit far fetched in places but generally I really enjoyed it.

Plus, Trevor Eve is a silver fox

If I had been the kidnapper I would have had the human shield on both sides of the bus but apart from that it has a very good pace.

It was the previous series that was filmed in South Africa, this one must have been in India. I didn't see the earlier ones, but I enjoyed this one. I assume the girl is the daughter of the Foreign Secretary and has an unusual name , otherwise how would anyone know ( I mean if your name was Hague or Cameron no-one would connect you with the politicians!)

well as I did watch the first series I was aware it was made in South Africa and the current series was also filmed in South Africa.

look at the end credits - it states

An official South African/German Co Production and under it Rebulic of South Africa

so it may look like India but its South Africa

No, for the rest of the year he does a terrific job..but every time a film crew turns up it goes wrong.
I enjoyed it, a selection of fine character actors forming the passengers on the bus. Interesting to see the girl from the excellent "Fresh Meat" in a different role.

I have been to India and they have done a bloody good job with the sets as most people would never give it a second thought .

I knew it was Trevor Eve's own production company so I was looking into that when I spotted the South African connection - at first I thought the wiki page was incorrect but then traced it back to his own site { its listed under news }

Will have to watch it more closely as I am sure there is some general shots of India although the wiki line is filmed entirely in South Africa.

Its good to see him doing well as he was so good in Waking the Dead and I am old enough to remember him in Shoestring.

There's a huge Indian ethnic and immigrant population in South Africa so that would have helped with the casting, locations and extras. I think Durban claims to have the highest population of Indians outside of India.
