You have just listed nearly all the songs from all your favourite artists instead of a couple of examples Makes difficult reading. Very boring. Totally pointless. Running out of ideas? I really hope so

In an attempt to answer the question more succinctly. I think Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush still gets a fair old play especially on music channels, I constantly see the video when I browse through. Classic dance moves, should incorporate it into the national anthem.

I wouldn't consider some of the songs mentioned in the OP's list old. The last three Britney singles mentioned (Hold It Against Me, Till The World Ends and I Wanna Go) only came out last year and are definitely not old. Baby One More Time probably is but it's a classic as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I was thinking that. I don't know what constitutes old but surely at least a couple of decades?

I heard Blondie's One Way Or Another on the radio whilst driving a few days ago.

Guess they're not completely forgotten

Honestly though, the title of this thread makes very little sense... Sometimes I wonder if you're just a troll

Classics on Radio may have been a better title.

I think anything from the 90s or 80s would be considered old. Madonna's 80s stuff would be old but I refer to those songs as classics, not old

Vintage sounds better and in the case of some songs Classics is even better I listen to a fair bit of 80s stuff.

Not really sure what the point of the thread is but if you listen to Radio 2 there's plenty of stuff gets played from not only the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s but they often dip into the 1950s as well.
