Elephant (Breathless Version) will be the B-Side.

Well you're obviously not old enough because you don't know the difference at all. It's plain and simple for anyone with a working pair of ears, that she was singing live. If you want to see miming, then check out your favourite lady Madonna's super bowl performance.

Or a bit too old to hear the difference....

It's beautiful. Her toned down ballads remind me of Whitney, i.e Before the rain - For the love of you. Just beauty.

Believe what you like. I can spot miming a mile off. Rihanna was totally miming at the Brits as was Alex on 'Let's Dance...'. It was blatantly obvious. We can all like whoever, but let's be objective about things.

But they weren't and that's the point. Having a backing track and miming isn't the same thing.

I'm actually starting to wonder if your just messing around. I don't understand how you can accuse them of miming when they never mime, again you don't have a good ear for this. It's really strange. I actually don't like artists who mime. Britney is an example of someone who mimes all the time, are you trying to say that Beyoncé, Alex and Rihanna are like her?

I wouldn't bother.....

He won't watch this video because 'she's probably miming anyway'.....waste of time even bothering....you won't get a constructive or objective reply.

Oh heavens above...Alex is nowhere near Whitney...and I speak as a someone who likes a couple of her songs.

Look, with Alex and so many of the others, you are buying an image. If you want to believe that Alex was singing live on a studio based telly show, then fine. As you get older, you will see through it all.

Until I see Alex live...and really live, she will always remain a mime artist, but a good dancer.

Having an 'instrumental only backing track' is one thing...which is fine. Having a 'pre-recorded backing track, including the main vocal line' is another, when there is an expectation of a fully live performance.

I am saying that, along with Kylie, Rihanna, Madonna, Katy, JLo, Britney, Beyonce and others, Alex mimes on telly shows...yes...for the reasons stated here and elsewhere. My beef is with singers who pretend to sing live.

The trouble is, so many of you are used to the X Factor sound that you can't actually differentiate between live proper and miming, in my view.

For the fourth time watch this video and then tell me Alexandra mimes on TV shows. Your whole argument is completely idiotic and baseless.

What do you mean X Factor sound?

Here's Beyoncé performing Deja Vu in the studio of one of Ant And Decs shows LIVE

Now are you gonna tell me that's mimed?

I am not going to patronise you by asking you how old you are, but it is a well known fact, that since time and memorial, 'singers' have mimed on studio based telly shows. Now you can either accept it and say you like the 'studio recordings' or deny it and believe what you like. Up to you.

If it was on an Ant and Dec studio based show, I can guarantee it was mimed...I hate to destroy the illusion.

LOL so your not even going to bother to watch it? How petty. Seems like you can't take being wrong lol. Oh well, I know I'm right so I guess that's all that matters .

Edit - Oh and that video that Zack posted, there isn't a studio recording because she's singing COMPLETELY live and it's the first and only time she's performed it.
