I'm in Essex and lost my data connection earlier. Wondered why.

So did everyone loose data connectivity today? Because about 11:30 today I lost my 3G data connection, so did my mate who I was with (he is also on Orange). Still had signal but no data.

But i'm in Essex, that's nowhere near Birmingham. So did most of the country loose connectivity or something?

I do believe this info is given out to corporate customers and the like.

As for UK outage it never affected anyone i know in Scotland.

Ohh right I see, so what actually happened? whats a GGSN? How come a lot og the UK was affected?
