I've been wracking my brain trying to remember My Oh My - Slade but for the life of me, I don't remember it. Was this a big hit?

I cannot recall ANYONE ever covering a Slade song before

Didnt one of them cover Slade in Pop Idol 2 on the Christmas Theme show? Not sure though.

Like the choices for Steve and Cassie, and also Verity actually, think maybe she'll pull that song off....don't think G4 will be good at Don't Look Back In Anger, and I don't know the Slade song, or the one 2 To Go are doing, unless it's the Always that Bon Jovi did...but I'm sure they said Atlantic Star...is that the same one?

If you go to this Amazon page you can hear a sample of 'My Oh My' (track 17). Not one of Slade's best efforts imo and a risk because its not a very well known song.

Of the others, I think Verity, VWS and Steve have picked very predictable songs . Not much imagination shown there.

Also, I'm fully expecting G4 to murder another good pop song and I know I'm going to hate Rowetta's version of 'I Still Haven't Found....' (imo, U2 covers are always pale imitations).

I've just searched and listened to Tabby and 2 to go's chosen songs this week. Tabby's is crap it is very dated . 2 to go's is predictably very very cheesy , you will know it when you hear it.

I agree about the 2 To Go choice but they could do it really well.

Verity, Steve, VWS and G4 all have quite obvious choices. I don't think I'll enjoy G4's Don't Look Back In Anger.
Rowetta's song will be interesting, I'm not a Rowetta fan but I think it could work well.
Don't know 2 To Go's song but I like Tabby's and Cassie's choices. I think.

I dont think one would really call G4 covering Dont Look Back In Anger an obvious choice.
