you dont understand her at any level if you think that she is doing it 100% out of the goodness of her heart and once again adele has nothing to be jealous about from a third rather like taylor swift who is much less talented and succesful.

Lovely story, nothing new though with this amazing young woman. Other ladies in this industry should take a leaf out of her book

I think your overestimating the need for Taylor to get publicity. She doesn't need a stunt like this to boost her profile, she has been doing things like this unpublicised for years, it just so happens due to the nature of this story - it is in the public eye

they have when they did similar publicity stunts with their fans

mila kunis took an iraqi veteran out for a date
justin timberlake also took a female fan to the same ball
justin bieber took a young fan with cancer out on a date
gerard butler has also done it

its not a new concept

i'm not denying it is a good deed, however it is also partly a publicity thing

Celebrities have visited people in hospital for years, it's pretty much the same thing.

Everyone from Frank Bruno to Johnny Depp have done stuff like this - I'm sure there's part of them what does it for the "karma" and part does it for publicity.

Celebrities in any field hardly get off the publicity machine no matter how nice they may be.

Nice gesture, but obviously a publicity stunt, and not a particularly original one either

EDIT

Just realised i've wasted by 2000 post in a Taylor Swift thread!

They have....yet you don't name any music female in your four examples. Ironic really.

Of course this is not new and plenty of people in the public eye does it, always a great deed and shouldn't be rubbished "just because it has been done before". Each and every person who has given something should be praised.

shes a celebrity and it has been done before by celebrities, im sure there are many examples of female singers doing the same, its probably the first example of a female country pop singer named taylor doing it but shes hardly blazing any trails there

Trouble is the adele stans posting in this thread cant find a single other thing to dis taylor for so they try to state she is using a cancer victim as a publicity stunt, pretty sick and desperate measures really to dis one of the nicest artists in the music industry for doing something like this.

its clearly a publicity stunt and we can find plenty of other hings to diss taylor swift about, the fact shes a third rater with few fans outside of america, her songs are mediocre pop country crap that shames real country music, shes boring, her songs are very immature and not very well written and comparing her to adele is crazy because she has sold less, is less critically acclaimed, is not a worldwide star like adele and has never been as popular as adele, they are both also fairly unoriginal as none of their music breaks new ground

Sweet thing for her to do, and to be honest, those crying 'publicity stunt' - well she can't win can she - she ignores him - she's a heartless cow, she doesn't take him but sends some signed stuff (for example) - lazy mare doing the least possible, she takes him and it's a publicity stunt.
I'll take this at face value and think it's a very nice thing for her to do.

And I'm not any sort of fan of the woman's singing or songwriting skills.

I agree with this its a nice thing to do and will make this guy's day.

Am I any more likely to become a fan - nope, sorry musically she is simply not my cup of tea.

Geordielady - your post is Post #37.
Can you point out in Posts #1 - #36 where Adele is mentioned. You're quick to call people for knocking Taylor, yet you seem to thrive on knocking Adele, you've brought her into this thread for no reason. You obviously attempted to bring her into the thread in Post #21 by mentioning "chav" and your posting history proves that's your "line" where Adele is concerned.
If you give, you gotta be able to take!

I think that says more about you than it does anyone else who has posted in this thread.

And all you do is dig at a Adele so does that make you jealous of her?
You're the laughable one Geordielady. I'm fairly new to these boards but from lurking around I've noticed that you're coming across as a dislikable person who says what they want but yet whenever you're challenged you blatantly ignore the challenge - probably because you have no argument and you find it easier to bury your head in the sand.
If you don't like people attacking Taylor Swift, maybe you should behave in a more adult way and not attack Adele.
You are apparently a married woman in her forties - acting in an adult way should be second nature.

Where was the publicity for this? This is just one case of hundreds probably.

Second part of your post is just moronic. Adele could ****ing never write an album on her own...and you know it.

That is nice of her and she probably made his day.
