Aaliyah

Ok, so it's a 'not bad' song but answer me this, would she be number 1 if she was still alive?

I think not

Or, would it have got to number one in any other week?
This week was a shockingly low selling week for singles.
Last week Daniel Bedingfiled sold about 30,000, this week Aaliyah only sold about 14,000.

Personally I think that Dr Dre deserved number 1 spot.his is a class tune. Ah well,at least gotta get thru this is out of number 1 spot.It really was a load of shite and proves the British regard anything mildly repetitive and funny voiced as dance music.

As dart says, singles sales slump in the opening part of the year, hence the reason for all sorts of crap making No1 in January and February.

I think sadly its generally accepted that she wouldn't have got to number 1 if she was alive still...

which is sad as its not a bad tune.

I agree I’m surprised by the amount of names I never heard of in the charts!

But Mr. Harrison will be number 1 this week. Why do all the dead people get to #1 do people feel sorry for them?

Regards
Mc
