I agree with the comment with regards to the choice and order of singles. If she lead BTW with Marry the Night and Edge of Glory I think she would have bagged herself some serious hits. Judas was a hideous choice. I really liked You and I also - wish it had done better

I think she should've lead with TEOG and replaced You&I with Scheisse

The nonsense at the VMA's last year (I think?) where she dressed as a guy was the breaking point for me personally. She looked absolutely awful and was so cringeworthy the entire night. Beyonce and Britney looked so classy and elegant and yet Gaga was there dressed as a man and acting weird and attention seeking as usual.

When she was performing I thought it was funny when they panned to other artists faces in the crowd and they were all like WTF it wasn't good

Thats the thing for me i think she was trying either to hard to be funny or was taking it way to seriously result just bizzare and not at all cool When Annie Lennox did it at the Grammy's there was a sense of elegance and purpose behind it Gaga was just weird i don't see the overall purpose

As soon as she hit the scene I thought she might have a short shelf life. There is only so much shocking folk you can do before folk start to get fed up of it all.

I felt a huge shift at the Grammys. She sat there with that net on her face, and she just looked uncomfortable, alone and completely irrelevant in that moment. Like her time had passed her by. It was one of the most poignant snapshots in music that I've seen.

She is going to have to go away and give people a chance to miss her. And come back humble, with a better album.

I kind of feel I didn't like her so much when she was doing the whole gay icon thing :| im not homophobic at all but she changed her style and music a bit then Alejandro onwards.
But i guess I just liked her till the UK release of LoveGame when she became really popular! Somehow I prefered her before. But actually I'm begining to like her again

When your music takes second place to your image then that's surely a weak footing to be starting out with. I suspect the non fans were put off by this attention seeking persona and the music had better be good to keep up with it , unfortunately it wasn't .

Funny enough Paparazzi was on there now and I think she is so hot in it. In Pokerface she had curves in all the right places. She wasn't as wacky up til now, she was very out of the box though. But I think she was a great looking girl. However, since Telephone I feel her looks have gone downhill. She's much more slim and has a tinier frame and I think it takes away from how good she looked. I'm not trying to say 'OMG her health is deteriorating, I just think she looked better with more weight on her'

I give props to her because she does work her ass off, she goes on tour and works night after night after night. But she should maybe take a break at some point and sit down to concentrate on her album and herself. I think she needs to put the music before the image. It's got to the point where it's not fashion anymore, it's just crazy. She wears stuff from couture runways, that are only meant to be for the runway. It's too crazy getting

Lady GaGa use to be fun to listen too, I have all her albums, but she became too weird & it made me not like her music anymore. I'd much rather listen to just normal music like Emeli Sande

oh dear, when you put it like that, i actually feel sorry for her. although, i have to admit, i felt that way about her also that night.

i think she has fallen out of favour somewhat and her award show appearances have not helped in recent times. although, i think she will pull it back and make a triumphant return. i have heard interscope plan to take her back to her roots musically. however, the most classic gaga sound on `born this way` was `judas` and that was a turkey in my opinion.

hopefully, they will let her develop as an artist and maybe she will put some of her more of her crazier ideas to bed. she still has huge potential though.

How melodramatic.

What were you expecting her to do? She didn't perform, she didn't present, she didn't win an award, she didn't even walk the red carpet. She was just showing face.

As for "irrelevant", you must have not been on Twitter at the time nor watched the red carpet. There was a constant stream of people wondering where she was (it trended throughout) and discussing those who turned up in "Gaga-like" outfits, and when Katy and Nicki performed she was talked about further. During the ceremony she was one of the most frequently cut to faces.

The Grammys 2012 belonged to Adele. Everyone knew that. There's only so "happy" you can fake going into something knowing you will not win. At least she didn't throw fits on camera like Nicki and Bruno, or act as bitchy as Katy Perry and Ke$ha did when Gaga slayed the VMAs. I think it's pretty unfair the way people are acting toward Gaga for "losing", like it was a personal slap on the face. Adele winning was awarding Adele, not detracting Gaga or the other nominees.

I agree with your last comment though. However, we're no longer in an industry that requires years away for absence to make the heart grow stronger. Her laying low for the next year would be sufficient. Won't be enough for some, but they aren't likely her target market.

And even more Lady Gaga has incredible voice imo but it's overshadowed by her trying to be 'special'

Bruno Mars was being funny and deliberately stroppy on that video. It was intentional. I'm sure Gaga was gutted not to win an award and was very gracious on her twitter about it all

people slay her if she takes up all the limelight
people slay her if she takes a step back to concentrate on her future work, e.g a perfume apprently? and her new tour. Shes on the back burner for a while so we dont hear from her, its not bad. She will be back with a bang

I think its the long videos she ALWAYS has to do now 'ok one video fine but to have others is just lame, the comparisons havent helped either also Born this way was imo a weak album considering the hype SHE created for it. Also her over the top 'oh im the best etc hasnt helped her.

Yes I bought the first album but haven't even thought of buying the second.

i thought gaga acted classy at the grammys by not throwing a fit or making faces. i think she adores adele. she even defended her when her monsters attacked her.

I did enjoy Born This Way, moreso than The Fame. Born This Way had a lot less "filler" songs, IMO. I do get bored of the neverending music videos, though. It's nice to have a music video of 3:56 when the song is 3:56. I don't care for extensive music videos. That's just me though

I never really got into her born this way era. I was quite disappointed. I'm still looking forward to her next album though.

In my opinion Born This Way is her best album miles better than the fame. I think the songs on the fame are good but the 4 singles that were released were by far the strongest.

The Fame Monster is a fantastic pop album but again for me BTW is better, I love Marry The Night in fact its my favourite song of hers ever.
