Best Welsh Music Act - An Album A Day Poll For St David's Day (1/3/12)
Hi guys,
As some of you may know I am listening to an album I've never heard before every day this year. I am currently through 56 albums and this Thursday for St David's Day I will be listening to an album by a Welsh act. It is up to you guys to choose me which album so if you could tell me your favourite Welsh act then an album by the winning act will be listened to on Thursday. If you want to suggest me your choice's best album too then feel free! Happy voting! |

`word gets around` by the stereophonics is probably my favourite welsh artist album. i quite like tom jones`s `reload` too. i was in a shop the other day and heard `crazy chick` by charolotte church. that song and `call my name` was fantastic! its a shame the rest of `tissues and issues` wasn't as good.

My personal favourite welsh band were probably Gorky's Zygotic Mynci.
But I voted anyway! |

What about Kids In Glass Houses? The Blackout? And the rest of the welsh bands having some form of success?

Back To Scratch by Charlotte Church is worth a listen. Its very different to what you'd expect if you've only heard her classical/Crazy Chick stuff.

Of your choices I've voted Manic Street Preachers but my actual choice would be The Alarm's Declaration, absolutely stunning album.
