At the risk of sounding like a total tosser, I really can't be seen to be getting all excited like a kid over a concert - they know I'm a fan of Bruce but even that is quite low key - there have been a few odd looks when I told them I was going to NYC to see him, so Matt would just look really odd.
It's actually easier though cos it's hard to talk about it and not come across as a total fangirl - much easier not to talk about it
I don't really fit the stereotype of my profession - I don't play golf or do dinner parties or any of the "middle class shite" so I'm weird enough to my colleagues without telling them the next 3 months of my life are totally fillled with Matt cardle and Bruce springsteen gigs
