Unlocking iPhone question
Shadow27
26-02-2012
This is probably a really basic question. I'm about to upgrade my iPhone and going over to 3 or Vodafone from Orange as their coverage is awful on my way to work (the train broke down last week and I had no signal to call my husband!)

The Orange iphone is now out of it's 24 month contract, I think I'm in month 30 now so does this mean I can keep it? If so I wanted to give this to my husband and put in a PAYG sim, does it have to be Orange, can I swap to another network? Do I need a code to unlock it?

I know Apple products very well but shamefully thick about mobiles. Embarrassing from someone who has used Apple since 1980 something..
