As is widely known 'BAD' was written as a duet for Prince and Michael Jackson, but Prince wasn't up for it.

MJ also recorded several songs with Freddie Mercury, but they felt out and never released them (I have heard there are plans to release an album of them soon)

also 'In The Closet' was intended to feature Madonna, and MJ wanted Whitney on the Bad album.

that's 4 amazing duets that were so close but the public never got to hear.
