On the BBC 2 documentary 'I'm in a boyband' last night amongst other things the program said that in every boyband there are roles for the members and the five most comonly found are:

The Quiet one:
Big Brother:
Head Boy:
The Cute one:
The Wild card:

Which roles do you think boybands past and present fit these labels. Also before someone puts The Gay one, Duncan from Blue joked that should be a category! For example Take That

In terms of categories I know when I was a young teenager looking at boybands, there was always one member in particular of each I always thought wasn't very attractive in comparison to the others - but it does seem a bit harsh having a category of 'the ugly one'

These role types don't seem to apply with the current Boy Bands. Guess it shows a shift in the times really.

you could apply this criteria to any group of people, so its not the territory of boybands alone.

Dougie has always been the quiet one in McFly (although its an ongoing joke that he remains quiet in interviews to make sure he doesn't say something to get them into trouble.) I would say Harry certainly fits the Big Brother role. Tom would be head boy. Not sure about Danny.
