After watching Andys petulance tonight I can believe the rumours about a certain CS clique being very, very true

I just cant understand why he is still there

Not so much with that one I have to say Matthew Wolfenden is going to be Kim Marsh's brother in law or something to that effect so she has been supporting him and trying to get votes for him although she has acknowledged that she is friends with Andy and technically is supporting him too.

Agree though think it is the Corrie fanbase that is getting him through its like Coleen and Todd all over again it was the pre existing fanbases that got them through.

Although I'm going to be unpopular for saying this Jennifer certainly shouldn't go before Andy does as she has been improving but then on the scores tonight Chemmy shouldn't go before he does either but have a bad feeling one or more of the better 5 skaters will go before he does.

He's rubbish, but he clearly thinks that he's better than he is. The back chatting the judges made him across as a bit of a prat to be honest.

They have probably got him on speedial, what can we do to get rid of the obnoxious twit

Just a shame there isn't a spin off show - lines would jammed howling for him to go

Have all the Andy fans gone to ground now because they messed up voting for their fav. I hope they are pleased with themselves that two good skaters have gone just because of their ridiculous devotion to a complete and utter loser

Well I think I'm going to be the lone voice here as I can understand why Andy was miffed this week! He was actually "skating" without the aid of his partner whilst Jen was doing her usual "pushme, pullme, carryme" routine and got marked high because of it!

If the programme was really about skating then Heidi would never had made it as far as she did and should have gone in the first week. It might just be that a lot of people watching saw Jen get ridiculous marks for doing "naff all" and agreed with Andy's belief that he was a better "skater"!

If they did then they must be as deluded as he is. Jen may have been overmarked but Andy was massively overmarked.

Actually cannot contemplate how he is here still when sebastian and sam arent! he is awful, has no charecter, and is rude in real life!

How was he "overmarked"? He was bottom of the leaderboard. If anything is going to persuade people to vote it's seeing their fave at the bottom. A lot of people on here were moaning because Jen was overmarked and yet because one of their faves go it's Andy who at least tries to skate on his own who's getting the backlash!

I really like Jen but, I wouldn't vote for her because I would like her to do a bit more skating and a lot less posing!

Don't even get me started on Sebestien. I'm still cross at that ridiculously complicated routine.

I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one who can't stand this odious person. Always whinging, thinks he's better than he is and throw's a tantrum when he doesn't get his own way. If he had been given a lower (accurate) judges score he may have been on his way.
But this happens in all reality shows and gets us all talking, no such thing as bad publicity etc.
The worst thing is he doesn't look surprised to go through (bit of a fix?) and the has a real smug smirk about him.
Not my favourite, no

I find it weird that people would vote for someone just because the celeb happens to appear in another show that they happen to watch. Andy is so deviod of pesonality, likability, and watchability it's shocking he is still being saved week after week and we're losing people like Sebastian, while Chico (!!!) was even at risk tonight. I know it happens in every reality show that there will be an absolute buffoon who always gets further than they rightfully deserve to, but it's still infuriating. And I don't even take these shows seriously!

The poster who compared Andy to Craig Kelly is dead on, although I think Andy is much more unpleasant, with a much bigger chip on his shoulder. But yes, both cut from a fairly similar cloth.

Probably Coronation Street fans, just because he's well known!

Andy to escape the skate off, with Chico in it, must be in the top 3 of the vote.

Chemmy must also have been in the top 4.

If they are there one of Jennifer, Jorgie and Mathew isn't in the top 4.

There's all sorts of reasons for that ranging from the top 2 having nearly all the votes and the rest of the votes being tiny - to this being another year where the person with the anti-judge vote gets 30-40%.

Imagine if Andy wins! The arrogance will be off the charts!

It gets much harder for him to top the public vote each week as the number of contestants left falls. His vote is probably static - and the others rising.

No way Andy could win - but when he will go no one can say!
Thank you

Andy has a huge fan base out there simple as that. Stop moaning because voters have different tastes to you, he survived another week your just turning on him because he's a threat to your favourites.

It's Anthony bloody Cotton in the jungle all over again.

And no Bleakley 'we' don't all love him.

p.s I don't vote for Andy, or for anyone else for that matter - a waste of money!”

I don't think anyone has questioned people's right to vote for whoever they choose (at least, not on this thread). They're just seeking to understand their motivation. For instance is it, as many suspect, because they are Corrie fans and would vote for a Corrie actor regardless? Is it the British 'back the underdog' spirit? Is it about winding up the judges? Or do people admire the effort that Andy has put in and think he is one of the most improved?

Above all else he's got this attitude of "Corrie entitlement". Whenever he's saved over much better skaters theres no sense of surprise, or embarrassment, just that smirk and a thumbs up to his indiscriminately loyal fanbase. Whenever he's rightly criticised by the judges he has to answer back. I suspect he genuinely thinks he's a better skater than Seb or Sam. He's coming across as a surly, arrogant oaf.

He's definitely not as good as he thinks he is. He can't possibly win over the top skaters or the show would be finished.
