I don't think anyone has questioned people's right to vote for whoever they choose (at least, not on this thread). They're just seeking to understand their motivation. For instance is it, as many suspect, because they are Corrie fans and would vote for a Corrie actor regardless? Is it the British 'back the underdog' spirit? Is it about winding up the judges? Or do people admire the effort that Andy has put in and think he is one of the most improved?
