Isn't the Britney song the one from her album?

I think it's a new track.

Interesting line up

Says a lot about Wil.I.Am as an artist really? He is that dull on his own, he needs a guest to attract people to his songs.

Eva Simons, Busta Rhymes, Swedish House Mafia and Wolfgang Gartner are also featuring according to Wikipedia.

He does work better as an collaborative artist.

He can't cut it in his own. And even with those collaborations it'll still sound completely uninspired.

He's done LOTS of solo material before. Check for yourself.

I know you won't like ANY of his songs, but he's done dozens of songs with no famous vocalists on, so he CAN do it. He's one of the biggest producers of my generation, so obviously lots of artists want to work with him.

I try to like will.i.am but I don't understand the fuss. He does produce some amazing songs but most of the time it's nothing special.

What amazing songs would they be? I think you're being too kind.

I think he has some amazing songs too.

It's all just down to opinion though. I'm almost certain you won't like any of the songs that I (or Jeanie Gold) think are amazing, and that's fine. will.i.am's music is simply not to your taste, just in the same way that some of your favourite artists are not to my taste.

Will.i.am was producing decent stuff until about 2009, when T.H.E E.N.D came along. Ever since then he's gotten massively carried away with that futuristic hip-hop theme. I Got A Feeling is a good song, but Dirty Bit is awful as is a load of other stuff he's done. There is a thin line between a masterpiece and a god awful piece of music. Will.i.am has yet to find that line, thus we get songs with no structure at all like T.H.E with small, almost pointless chrouses, rap lyrics which don't flow and are comical for all the wrong reasons, a bridge which just sounds embrassing, and a legendary rock star (Mick Jagger) who is reduced to looking a bit wierd.

I Gotta Feeling wasn't actually made by will.i.am. That song was made by David Guetta (the Black Eyed Peas only wrote the lyrics and did the vocals).

I like T.H.E, but I agree that his beats from before 2009 were better. I think he was better as a purer urban-pop producer than now when he tries to put dance and electro elements in the songs.

Oops at me. I forgot that. In my defence, my mind is fuzzy and it's been 3 years. I think natural urban/hip-hop is more his terrority. This whole fusion of dance/electro/hip-hop/urban he's trying to do comes off try hard.

I'm of the same generation. I just don't get his appeal or anyone who sees talent in Cheryl Cole I'm afraid.
