they were recorded officially. i presume you mean released officially instead of someone like his cousin sticking them out unnoficially. none of the leaked tracks were finished. most of the circulating tracks are instrumental versions of songs intended for janet jackson, seal, wendy and lisa, elton john, etc. AFAIK elton was the only one to have participated in recording vocals
