Well The Ting Tings have finally released their sophomore album this week and is slowly climbing the iTues chart!
It's a strange album, with a vast mix of genres but actually it's a pretty decent album. Far less tacky than the first. I'm not sure how it is going to chart but it deserves top 10 at the very least...

Oh and I do love how they have just randomly added "Hands" onto the deluxe version

They've left it too long to release it. I get the feeling we won't be hearing much about them in the future.

Yes i'm buying it as i enjoyed We started nothing but having scrapped half of an album to start over leaving an almost four year gap without a massive single to comeback with i feel shot themselves in the foot

I love the single "Hang it Up" but i've had a listen to the album and it doesn't really do a lot for me.

It annoys me when people say "they have left it too long"

at the end of the day artists want their perfect album and there is no point rushing it is there? Rihanna releases a new album every week and you can hardly say the quality is getting better with each rushed release can you?

They might as well release something they are passionate about... otherwise what's the point?

Yes - "Sounds from nowheresville" is the title, it's a really decent album, weird but good! Nothing wrong with that!

It's not a bad album. I preferred We Started Nothing tbh, this one's a bit too much of a mixed bag. Hit Me Down Sonny and Soul Killing are great tracks though.

Maybe they've got their perfect album, maybe they care more about that than selling records. I hope they do because leaving it this long will mean they don't sell anything like they would have with an early release.

Loving it on first play and songs can only get better as they seep into our consiousness - I suspect this will be the soundtrack to spring....appearing on a TV soundtrack near you soon ! Favourite track so far - Day to Day
