PDF files on IPad
I'm really not an IT buff at all.
I have a PDF file that I want to read on my IPad. The file shows up in Books on Itunes but when I sync it to my IPad it doesn't show up in IBooks. I tried resycing with it not selected and then with and I did get messages that seemed to indicate that it was transferring it to the IPad but I can't seem to find it. Any ideas? |

update
just as soon as I submitted this I wondered if I could search the IPad for the file and as I was in Ibooks started there. It showed up and when I selected it, it seemed to put it in the IBooks bookcase display. So all is well. It is a bit fiddly though. I would have thought that it would have gone in and be displayed with just the sync, |

You can also just swipe left and right in the bookstand to swap between pdf's and books.

I use the iAnnotate PDF app for PDFs and it's brilliant. There are other readers or readers/annotators, too, which are free or very cheap like PDF Lite. I have the full version of iAnnotate so I don't know how much it costs right now.
