Girls versus Boys

Matt picked Chico and Andy


What team do you think will double their points and what team will you prefer

Are they definitely doubling the points again? I actually hope they are as if it follows last year's pattern then we should hopefully end up with a Andy v Jen skate off with Andy leaving.

We can only hope that Andy is in the SO this week - I don't watch Corrie so I didn't know him before this series of DOI, but frankly his attitude stinks. He is too full of himself and won't listen to the judges - but frankly I'd rate Katarina and Robin's assessment of anyone's skating ability rather than an amateur who's only been skating for a few months. so I've no time for Andy "I've been undermarked AGAIN" Whyment's complaints! As for those keeping him in by voting for him there is only one question - WHY???!!!!

Louie wtll mark the boys a lot higher than the girls

Not necessarily. Louie rates the actual dance aspect highly so if the girls perform better in that then he will mark them higher and given Jorgie and Jennifer are strong in that area that should stand them in good stead with Louie. Chemmy is weaker as a performer but her skating should appeal to the other judges so it should all balance out.

Boys V Girls.

Not sure how I feel about this. Chico, Chemmy and Matthew are my favourites so I I don't want any of them in the skate off. I'm looking forward to seeing Chico and Matthew skating together though, they're both strong skaters who are capable of doing impressive lifts. How is Andy going to fit into that though? He's no-where near the skill level of the other two.

I sense that the judges will pick the girls routine to win as they'll not want andy anywhere but bottom of the leader board to give him the best chance of being in the bottom two (although he's obviously getting a huge public vote to have avoided it so far) ... so it may backfire if Chico's public vote doesn't improve

Andy's the weak link which will give victory to the girls.

Your opinion of the wrong team may not be someone elses opinion. Some will want the girls to win and others will want the boys either way some people wont be happy and no doubt there will be more threads on the subject come Sun night.

How can there be a wrong team as such Everyone with the exception of Andy perhaps is of at least the same level so I wouldn't say there is a right or worng team.

My preference is for the girls to win but that doesn't make them the right team. The boys could be better but I'd still want the girls to win.

I suspect the girls will win - another boost for Jorgie perhaps? Yes I'm getting cynical now!

The girls weakest player (Jen) is considerably stronger than the boys weakest (Andy).....and she has had the advantage of just having her best week yet whilst the judges were not enthusiastic about Andy.

If they double the marks of the winning team again....the skate off will be between the members of the losing team. If Andy has the huge public vote we've seen he already has, we could actually end up with a Matt/ Chico skate off while that wally stays in if the boys lose, although hopefully, With the rebound vote for Chico though - I hope that would be enough to push Andy into the skate off - he would go up against anyone else!

Girls to win for me. Jorgie and Chemmy have been my top two from day one, and since they're together, they have to win.

If the boys team wins, Andy will finish third from top. That happened to Denise last year, and didn't she end up in the skate off

If Chico is propelled to the top, he should be safe from the skate off

So for those two reasons, I'm rooting for the boys team

i think, unless there is some obvious fall or stumble the girls will win as andy is the weak link that will let down the boys and its only right as it really is his time to go!

If you give 3 points to the faves (Jorgie, Matt, Chico) 2 to the middle (Chemmy, Jennifer) and 1 to weakest (Andy), then the teams are very well balanced.
