No browser icon showing on mobile?
I have just changed mobiles from a blackberry torch 9810 to a 9860. I backed up all the apps etc using the blackberry desktop software and have restored it all ok onto the new phone. So far so good. But on the new 9860 the browser icon is not showing on the main screen but is showing if you press the blackberry button but then says the host routing table is not set up. I have spoken to Vodafone and not getting anywhere with them and getting conflicting info. I have a vodafone contract with minutes text and data but do not use the BB services at all. I have attempted using the register now option in the settings but still no good. Vodafone said wait 24 hous and try again but still nothing. Anyone had this issue or know how to fix it?

I don't have a blackberry so have no idea. how easy it is to reset it to the factory settings and see if it is there then, (and the restore from your backup)

So to clarify are you saying that you don't have a BlackBerry add on on your plan?

Fixed with a reset via PC using the desktop software.
