Cats - moving house
There is a possibility I may have to move out of my rental property soon and until my new place is ready, move in with my mum – who has a cat aged 5. I also have a cat, but my cat is 13 years old and very sprightly
Does anybody have any suggestions how we can get them to be together in the same property (if it comes to that) so they don’t fight. My mums cat is a housecat – mine will have to stay in for the duration – although he isn’t a house cat. We have not got them together yet so any help or advice would be appreciated. I don't want to board him as it might be a month or so and nobody else in my family is able to take him. Any suggestions? |

To be honest boarding might be the best solution for a month - it often takes that long for cats to settle down with each other. In a good cattery you will know he is safe, you can visit him, and he won't accidentally get out.
