X files was ahead of its time, and is still as good today as it was in the 90's. Easy one of the best cult shows produced.

I am just glad it was made in the 90's probs would of got canceled after the 1st or 2nd season had it been made today Thats how American TV has gone.

I know what you mean. I think The X files would of gone in a similar way of how Fringe has become.

Really looking forward to watching them. Back in the 90's I had to rely on taping them from BBC1 so missed a fair few and in the end they had messed it up so much it became a nightmare trying to record it. Think I gave up mid way through series 5.

Do they still hold up to the tests of time?
I'm re-watching X Files on Netflix at the moment and I had forgotten just how brilliant the show was. I had also forgotten just how much the Cancer Man and Arsene Wenger looked alike

Found a couple of VHS recordings of the X Files, whilst doing the cleaning the other day. Mostly Season Four episodes on BBC One, and I think the Nazi related one. May watch it sometime this week.

I only really got into it because my Dad's cousin's husband appeared in some of the episodes. Kind of lost interest after his last episode, Chinga.
