Call divert and caller ID on ISDN
Hi
I am trying to get my head around some issues with caller ID when using call divert. With an analogue line, if I set up call divert then the phone that the call is diverted to displays the original caller ID With an ISDN2e line in the same circumstances what will happen? BT local business dont know it seems, so does anyone on here have the answer please? My understanding was that if the divert is at BT exchange level then the original caller ID should pass through but BT seem to be saying that it is different between ISDN and analogue. Any feedback from someone doing this would be great thanks |
